I felt death looming behind me, as dark as the night sky, as thick as smog.
I clung onto my dear life like the last autumn leaf clings onto its branch.
Death's cloak swishing dust under my feet. Her icy breath freezing my bones. Her skeletal hands outstretched to snap my neck in two.

Kissing him for the first time was such a giddy feeling. It felt like all the dead stars on the night sky finally came alive and the petal on which an ignorant child stepped on suddenly bloomed bright.

The Night Sky
I converse with this late night sky
That is way too high
But still it loves me as a dear
Taking away all my fear.
The stars gleam and shine as if dancing,
Looking back at me while joyfully floating
The moon, though diminishing,shines away bright
Each time more to brighten up my night.
Millions of stars indicate aglow
In that dark pitch black sky, which is low Illuminate delight above all scars and pains
Assisting me to grow with dreams and visions again.
Sole Interaction with it yields me with calm and solace
Pulling me back from the rough stormy days
This night sky lets me introspect and have a peaceful sleep
And to rise again yet another day with hopes too deep.
It's more of a lovely sight
With an enhanced scope;
Bestowing glimmers of hope
To reach to some novel height!

With no one to turn to,
Rejected and Lost.
But to me it appears,
As though, I am found,
I seem to shine brighter in the murk,
Even as an outcast, powerful I do feel,
As I light up the milieu.

Transfixed I stare at that ardent light
With wonder I reach out my hand

Let the blue melodies
swim the brightest lights.
Gleaming faces sway and sing
To the envy of the night.
When cold air feels warm
and transient places home,
how do I freeze this moment?
As we watch today's tales
slowly melt away
into the
nostalgia of yesterday -
I remember
how we lost ourselves
and let the stars speak,
Only to wake up
to the grey skies later.

Let me tell you... I went out with a real good friend of mine to a planetarium... and during the show the ceiling had countless stars projected on it (Duh!).... and now the night sky is overcast and not even the moon is visible...������
So I thought to myself that in her company I could see stars during the day inside a closed room! And without her around even the night sky is dull! And then the following happened!

The night was promising!
The stars sparkled, bright!
Across the table, We sat.
At the center, was flickering,
The scented candle light.
None else knew where we're at.
You gazed at the sky.
While, I gazed at You.
We soaked in the beauty at sight!
World forgotten, as time passed by,
Mesmerized by the view.
Oh! What a beautiful night!
The glare from the flame,
Illuminated your eyes,
Those glowing beads of honey!
I was playing the game,
With my eyes on the prize,
My beautiful Sugar-Bunny!!!
I lay down my hand.
You lay yours on mine,
We're silent, with promises in our heart!
We looked, where the land
Met the sky, in a line!
We knew, nothing could take us apart!
