Tumhara reshamsa dupatta Halki madham dhup me leharata hua jhoom raha tha, mene usee pakadna Chaha par Tumse thokar kha gaya, pata chala ki tum hi anchal bangaye.
Usne Apni ucchi awaz me sunaya : "Oye saamne dekhar chalo! Kaha dekh rahe ho?"
Mere shabd bhi Mujhse dhokebaaji Karne lage, अ ब क ki gintiyan bulwane lage, yaad aaya me abhi bhi Uske bigde hue gusse ke aas-pass hu.
Par jab aaj uss Tasveer ko Dekhta hu toh lagta hai jaise pehli Baarish ki mithi khushbu thi woh!
Haaa usdin pehli Barsaat huii, shayad usee Nahi pata ki uss din me bheegne se bachna Chaha!
Par bheegkar bhi Uske rang nahi dho paya mere Sharir se, shayad Yehi kehne woh ayi thi.
Us sham me ghumta raha khudko paane me, bheegi huii Chhat thi, yaad aaya ki abhi toh woh mere pass thi.
Fir dhuaa sa asmaan uski Muskan bangaya aur mene bhi muskuraya uss roothe badal ko.

Winter's Bidding
Hold onto what you know
the journey will take from you
like warmth flees from snow.
She knows not your battle
nor does she treasure
the price paid between pillars,
who shoulder unholy empires.
Stand still, blade poised,
lest your prayers
escape as shivers.
A final swing,
a descent of sword.
Then brace yourself
for her deadly whispers,
echoes in the woods
who bleed through the veil.
Prepare your tomb,
adorn it as you would
a coveted beauty.
And once you lay
upon the dirt,
the remnant of ash
from the cinder.
Her frosted grasp
will duly accept
your payment
for the winter.
Only then, will the cold
consume your breath,
and the offering of flesh
put her iced wrath to rest.

Sacrificed her all, even her lover.
'Twas a vow, she volunteered,
To shield her sibling from ache;
She built her life around
Her little princess--
With vivid, effervescent hues,
She overtook all the trundling tests.
Came to that tender fork, did she--
Had to choose between sis
And beloved friend.
'Twas not difficult, actually--
She merely requested a minute;
Then, opted to discard her joy
Of a few inebriated months,
For the dearest younger sister
She protected, all her life.
Hefty, hurtful tears did drop;
Yet, when it came to blood--
Not even the devil could stop;
Because her entire existence,
A stalwart, forever libation
For a far nobler mold of love.
Yes, she was her sister's keeper--
Gave up her all, even her lover.

I want to talk to you!
It's been months, our conversations have
Changed to two syllable words.
Tonight, I want to have the talk,
We've been doing in silence for months.
Time is the issue - you tell me always,
Tomorrow is Sunday, we can talk tonight.
Tonight we can go to sleep with the stars at the dawn,
Like we used to when we met.
Do you remember? Those nights!
Yes, we need to talk.
Talk about the broken mirror on the wall,
Which reminds me every day how shattered we are.
Talk about the flowers - withered flowers kept in the vase on the nightstand.
Flowers which represent the dying conversation we've in silence.
Are you listening?
Offourse, you have the big game tonight!
Time you spared to watch it,
And time runs away like this every day.
But, let's have the conversation tonight,
Offering a voice to the silence between us.
The silence that echoes what our hearts want - to go back to being strangers all over again.
