Let the secrets behind the padlock
stay where they are!
As I have neither the inclination nor the energy to lay them bare!
Thousands of thoughts occupy my mind,
I have no time to stand and stare!
Yet ! Here I am! looking at the door!
Wondering what happened behind those closed doors!
I "ll put this scene at the back of mind
And go about my daily chores!
