The moment I paused and
Looked at the sky full of
constellations my heart
Starve for the belongingness
Of us over everyone else
Being completely incomplete
You make me fall for your beauty
With all strings attached
To my heart with yours.

Pausing moments
We do have an option to pause
Pause an ongoing video or song.
There's a need, a certain cause
May be you heard or saw something wrong.
These prerecorded stuff may be stopped
Anywhere, at any time we like.
But it isn't the same for life, suddenly popped
Emotions might whack a severe strike.
Still, one has no choice to pause it's existence
It happens only once in the entire span.
And then when you try to show some persistence
That's of no use, God has a different, better plan.

Days go by...I don't touch my pen,
This pause gives me pain,
Or is this relief that runs through me.
Melancholy becomes my name,
Without this joy of words,
Life becomes a lonely place.
Trees lose their gentleness,
Moon- its allure,
These grey skies of my mind
screeching for a rainbow bright.

Pause from Chaos
I pretend
to not care,
but I can't stop,
the feeling that
is bothering me.
if we could shut out
our emotions,
life would be
easier in some way.
I would skip a few
hours and days,
when I cried over
my loss.
And they said it's
happening for a cause.
but it's just
too much of chaos.
And I think
I will be okay,
by putting life
on pause.

Dear Ex,
These days my life is an emotional rollercoaster. I type a message to send you everyday but I never could gather the strength to press enter!
Ask the backspace button.
It knows my turmoil.
I know there is nothing I can say that could ever justify my apathy towards you.
But when someone asks me to close my eyes and rewind my life I wish I could hit pause on all the moments we shared and relive it over and over again!

Crave All Life?
I want this, I want that - every time there is soemthing which we are in pursuit of! Let's pause, pause and see the sufferings and plight of people. Feel blessed to have a healthy life, good home and a beautiful family. Stop grumbling and start contributing! And, the irony lies over here, when you start contributing, you won't crave more! That's the magic of contribution, of selfless service!

I want to stay still
Pause the time for a moment
Cause whole life I have been running
Sometimes running away from problems
Others I have ran chasing dreams
Certain days running to understand emotion
Running aimlessly or to achieve aim
I just want a pause.
So that I can peacefully inhale the fragrance of dewy Petrichor
So I can feel the breeze flowing away
So that I can glide peacefully through streets
Silently and solemnly listening to my heart
Even just for a moment
I want everything to pause...

Of my being is a place where it's always sunny,
The flowers bloom, and the air is sweet with
The scent of ripe mangoes, when I run out
Of places to call home, won't you come to me,
If only to remind me that I have carried my
Home tucked within myself all along?

The sky hears everything Jimmy. Your midnight sobs for the spring that passed by your window too quickly shall not go unnoticed
and the fact that you are so stuck and held up in your past is blocking you from living in your present with serenity and preventing you from manifesting a fulfilling future.
Past is gone and no amount of despair, overthinking, wishfullness is going to change it.
Take for yourself the good advices you dish out to others when they are falling.
It's not easy. Everything in life is hard.
Pause for a moment to think about how lucky you are to be alive. You beat 300 million sperms to be right here right now.
That's an extraordinary miracle.
Don't waste this one precious life for something that happened in the past.
Its as important as you make it to be.
Let go my child.
Let it go!

A break...
That's what she calls it
A pause, a rest, a breath
From all of life's chaos
The busyness
The restlessness
The loneliness
A moment to recuperate

Paused
As if time had paused
Everything came to a halt
The early morning sunlight
Gracing the day with its blaze,
The shyness of the sun as it sets
And the transition of the crescent moon
To the midnight glow as full satellite
All failed to make me feel at home
As if I've been stuck
The plant I bought last month
Struggled to grow
As if resonating with my fading energy
To keep me company when I'm feeling low
Those sweetly worded frames nailed on my wall
The letters moved to find its new home
Channeling with my ever changing spirit
To treat my wounds and comfort me with
its new words
My life seems to have been paused
Like a blackout caused by a short circuit
just before the final strike of my favourite game
If stress had a voice, it'd have denied its undoing
Maybe I am bloated with redundant thoughts
Because now I feel nothing at all
I lay in bed all day like a hopeless recluse
Nothing I do could make me feel useful
My efforts to capture this moment of silence in
poetry may have missed the finest beats
Yet in my most vulnerable state, I earnestly wish to plead-
In case you are like me in any phase of your life
Allow yourself to feel lost
Do not hold back darling
If you do, it'll get harder to get through
Just let it flow like a stream
Babbling down the rocks!

Guilt, the gasoline
fuelin' in between
It's a race you're losing
for time's forever a foe
who stops for nothing
No rewind or pause
You, alone, must flee
non baggage-free
You run until you're numb
from the person you've become
It's a one-way adventure
caught in a motion
Deep seas and desert land
Will one ever understand:
that grief is an anchor
and tears are an ocean?
