Be your true self and treasure your values for the energy and time once expended cannot be bought back.
In order to stand up to someone's expectations or to fit in with others, people lie about themselves and put out false intentions just to make that connection worthwhile. As time passes by, they are not able to keep up with that made-up false persona and the connection starts to bleed. For the first time when the connection fails we learn lessons through the pain and know more about ourselves, our values and our character which helps to improve our decision making ability if we practice the lessons that we learned. Otherwise we'll be stuck in the same cycle and the same kind of toxic connections will follow, be it of any kind.
Self awareness is like a catalyst for our growth as a human! Stick to your authentic self and value your fundamental values and character, which makes one an unique individual.

Perspectives
We don't live in a material world,
we live in a psychic world and
we're only able to make indirect inferences about the nature of reality like take
for example, there is a pen,
To me, that is a writing utensil right?
To a dog, it's a chew toy.
Both are accurate.
It's just a question of context and perspective.
But what we say, that the dog is illiterate and immature and can't even see what the pen does.
Foolishness, right!
Then why do we keep on changing the perspective view on humans.

Restrict the needle from serving its purpose,
Cloth remains ripped for an uncertain period.
When the cloth accepts and allows itself
To feel the pain, it heals and evolves.
Its strength, enhances multifold for its owner.
O human! Let your soul feel and heal,
For your soul is like an endless cloth.

I am not everyone's cup of tea,
If I was weather I had be sunny...
Shines, glitters and warmth!
Nothing more nothing less.
Crouching in your bodies,
Filling it with snug.
Not the hurting kind,
But the one you wish for.
Leaving behind the sadness of leafless winter,
I will grow new leaflets and summer joy.
You will dream of me,
When its dark, cold and sad around.
I will just show up every morning,
Through the little gap between your curtains,
On your face, to make you smile!
