Love is the road of the patient ones, of the ones who are patient enough to find themselves again. Love doesn't happen overnight. Nope, it doesn't happen at a glance, though it takes a forbidden glance to lose it. It had already happened where the souls meet before the bodies do.
On the stairway to her haven, there are broken pieces of my heart on every step. That's how love is. That's how people find the one. By trampling their own hearts, As it has always been.
The author I admire most is The brilliant author- poet Edgar Allen Poe His style of writing touches my heart His rhymes and gothic romanticism I adore The way he reinvented genre of science fiction Leaving it forever changed furthermore His satire, dark humour and hoaxes Changed the tenor of writing even more His ability to talk about gruesome subjects Disturbingly keeping the story in the fore His obsession with death and macabre I relate to More than others romantic writings- which I abhor “The Raven” remains etched in my memory As does its gentle tapping on the poet’s door The use of internal rhyming and alliteration I learnt from him in order to write my own folklore His unapologetic approach towards topics Back in the day otherwise considered gore I find comforting with an almost biblical feeling Making me reimagine tales that I myself keep in store The use of irony and ludicrous extravagance In an attempt to free the reader from cultural folds Enthrals me as a reader, inspires me as a writer Which is why I revere the great Edgar Allen Poe
