~ 6th April, 2021 - Election Date.
The day before yesterday, a few members of "XXX" party,
Who last came in the year 2016 to our region,
Came again, for the same cause - "vote campaign"
"How many voters in this house?", asked one among them
To my mother - for which she said, "3".
(I could hear a 17 year old champ mourning,
And yes - it was me ��)
"Vote for our party", he said and gave rupees 1500,
'500' for each vote."Our party has very good plans for women",
He said. Probably he would have said "We have good plans for men", if it was my dad standing in my mother's pos.
The next day - yet another party named "YYY",
Who haven't won the state assembly election since 2006,
Came to our region, for the same cause.
The same "500 rupees per vote", with the same policies.
I said to my mother, "whom will you vote for ?".
She remained silent and said "whomsoever comes,
they are going to exploit."
I said yes to myself...
One who votes for the money he/she received,
People call you a "Loyal" person.
One who votes after proper reasoning and analysis,
Irrespective of the act from the other side,
People call you a "Rational" person.

P.S : All these thoughts wandered around me, when I was asked to write a slogan on "Voting rights" in my examination.
And all I wrote was - "Cast your vote- Not out of influence"��

"PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN SWORD" ah marantiyae pa.. - rahul_govindan @revathychandrasekhar Yeah.. and I even got influenced in many small things- for instance people around me started fighting for Thala vs Thalapathy which made the entire world of cinema shrink into "Thala and Thalapathy" (later came out of it ) and andha Proverb - Puni mam ku real story venum(historical) and I thought of writing me as en example (cringe ah irundhaalum adhaan unmai) but later wrote letter when my mind gave a warning ⚠️

- rahul_govindan @standbyme Truth seems to be bitter and again, not all souls are of such kind, Bec there are many good hearts(special mention in TN) and saddest part is (as I mentioned in the post) people are influenced and many get deceived by the mere "500 rupees".. Not juz in TN, but in many other states people act irrationally in someway or the other. ⚠️

A beggar and a ragpicker(Kabadi) boy comes in train and ask me for money. I got confused to satisfy whose need. Suddenly i thought about my money as it earned by hard work. Why should i satisfy the need of beggar who is just asking money without doing anything. On the other hand ragpicker boy who puts all trash from train coach and keeps it clean.As i was confused so I gave money to both.

Do you prefer image in Mirakee?
Do you prefer only text without any image in Mirakee, so that you can ignore about everything, and just focus on writing?
Adjusting those background colours, font styles, types etc of course does give you an option to personalize your post, but this is a writer's app right?
From a reader's point of view as well, those colorful images and background are a distraction for reading.
A good writer just needs words to come up with good literature.
Case in point, how many fiction books you have come across which has images, illustration on each page.
Medium provides more or less a standard editor for all users.

And some are like seriously? You are a writer? Tujhe itni sari English ati hai. Yeh kis ke liye likha Bata bata tu book kabh likh Rahi. Dekh Mera na acha sa kuch Dena description.
