It's always weird whenever an old song still bring smile and tears

Enjoying my imported booze,
Watching the breaking news,
It was The News of the decade,
The panel full of experts self-made,
The anchor roaring in nation's pride,
Screen flashing hundreds have died,
Majesty mourning the dead in silence,
Tears dripping with political mileage,
Martyr's dad asserting he was proud,
Out of seed, his world left ploughed,
I was starting to feel sad for all they lost,
Contempleting we had won but at what cost,
News reaffirmed we won despite the price,
And that's when I realized I was out of ice.
