Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is the most beautiful of them all?
The name you say will never be mine.
For my beauty runs deeper than you can define.
Whilst you look at the face and not my mind,
Know that I hide a lot behind.
You look at things upside down,
Sometimes make a smile look like a frown.
My face may not speak your language,
But my mind holds beauty you can never gauge.

Peeking Into Memories
He looked in wonder as the boy moved around,
Fighting imaginary soldiers as if he was on war ground.
He remembered his childhood, his playtime with Jackson,
They were as lively as the lil' boy's quirky actions.
A long slim balloon was the munchkin's sword,
That cut through the air as the boy comically roared.
He watched and watched for the longest of times,
The clock's hand ticking away, but he ignored the chimes.
In a distance a sound broke through his haze,
He saw he was looking through the keyhole of his own house in daze.
His puzzled mind asked, "Who was this boy,
Playing inside his house with such tremendous joy?"
He peeked through the keyhole again,
But as he knelt to his knees his body shook in pain.
He collapsed to the ground as all faded into smoke,
His body numbed, until a voice, far away, suddenly spoke,
"Dad? Are you awake? After all these years?"
He forced his eyes open as that lil' boy, now a bit taller, stood in happy tears.

A love to trek for
It was pouring in the afternoon and the entire hillside was engulfed in mist. The forest was damp and I felt my brand new trekking boots squelch creepy bugs.
Great. I was crushing bugs under my feet when I should have been cozying up with my crush. That man, however, was busy bromancing with another trekker.
What is it about sports that has a man's eyes glazing over, forgetting that he had invited a lady friend?
I grumbled. Served me right for blowing over my bestie's sleepover plans. I deserved this for choosing misters over sisters.
As I looked up from my thoughts, the other folks in the group had started walking towards the small hill that we were supposed to climb today. I gulped looking at it. Kevin was still in deep conversation with his buddy and had all but forgotten me.
I sat down on a tree stump to catch my breath. I was a couch potato whose idea of exercise was a trip to the snacks aisle of the grocery store. So trekking was a punishment from hell.
Woof.
Oh great now I had Cerebrus to supervise my punishment.
'Are you alright?' A melodic voice asked. I looked up and saw a golden spaniel. Huh? Did that dog just talk to me? I was losing my mind!
'Well. I wish he could talk, but Skipper doesn't.' I saw a man walking up to me.
Man? Let me rephrase. With his rugged good looks he looked like a model on a magazine for trekkers.
Guess I was thinking out loud.
'I am Will. Need help?'
As he gave me his hand to get up, I smiled.

When we reached the summit, Kevin walked over and said 'Macy! Thanks for being my wingman. I scored a date with George, all thanks to your help.'
He left smiling before I could ask how exactly had I helped him. I had just explained a few soccer terms the day before.
Then it clicked. Oh!
Wow, I felt used. And dumb to have not realised that Kevin batted for the other team.
Later that day, I realized that I had lost two things. My crush on Kevin. And my hatred for trekking.
All you needed was a good partner. And Will was. In more ways than one.

In the cold breeze

Like a lill kid lost in an island full of grass
He wrapped his arms around me
& made me a tiara with the wild grass and whimsical flowers
The fireflies light up the dark and shined in my eyes,as I see him holding a ring in his hand looked into my eyes and said,"Let's just be crazy,quirky,flawed,ugly & magical to our whole universe...
Be grumpy to my lazy self,hit me if I screwup...
Hold me tight,kiss me on my forehead &
I promise
I 'll be your strength
I 'll be your hope
I 'll hold your right where you belong
Till the day my life is through
