Plead to ShriRangaNaath
By Bhavya Gogia
Oh Bhagwati and ShriBhagwaan
Oh magnificent Shriyah and RangaNaath
Pray forgive all my sins
I don't even remember their counting
However, Oh Parama Devatas
I shamelessly stand being fearless
I have never cared for my trespasses
And have been lost in the World's homicide Caresses
Oh Kamla, Oh Vishnu, please listen to my pleads
You are known as ones of merciful deeds
I have sinned, I have sinned terribly
I have been in conditions and lived horribly
I don't have the audacity to speak much
Since my faults haunt me, and it's getting tough
I have called you multiple bad names
I have always blamed you for all my wails
I know you both are angry at me
And disappointed too, as I feel
But Oh Bhagwati, my sole refuge,
I know I have always been very rude
I am the lowest of low and miserably deprived
You are the highest of high and the kindest of kind
Yet I have been reckless and never humble
But losing you now, I do tremble
Oh Vishnu, do not deprive me, the wretched one
Of the service of your Sweet Feet, like lotus
If you leave me, where shall I go?
Do I have a recourse, other than you?
I know, I haven't trusted you and your wish
But yet I pine for your Feet's Nectarian bliss
Please Bhagwaan, heed to my sigh
Without you and Ma, there's no purpose of my life
If you leave me, Oh Padma Murari
I shall end my life in the Holy Kaveri
Then, purified by your will, I wish to get birth
As a servant of servant of your Feet's Dust
Even if you discard me then, Oh ShriMadhav
I won't call my life as pallid or barren

ShriRanga Dhaam, the abode of ShriRangaNaath is surrounded by the holy Kaveri river. If ShriLakshmiNarayana forbid me from serving them and keep me further away from them, I will have no purpose of living. I wish to be the Servant of Servant of their feet's dust. Nothing else.
Mukund Mala Verse 5
nāsthā dharme na vasu-nicaye naiva kāmopabhoge
yad bhāvyaḿ tad bhavatu bhagavan pūrva-karmānurūpaḿ
etat prārthyaḿ mama bahu mataḿ janma-janmāntare 'pi
tvat-pādāmbhoruha-yuga-gatā niścalā bhaktir astu
Meaning:
No interest I have in Dharma,
Nor in collection of wealth and assets,
Nor in passion and making love,
For what has been decided by you,
Will come to me in the form of karmas of the past,
But I have one soulful prayer to thee, my Lord,
In this birth and what follows,
Let me have rock like faith,
In thine two holy feet.
I pray, I wish, to ShriHari that I develop Nishchal Bhakti (selfless pure devotion) to their two holy feet. Nothing else, I desire.
