Reality
Over the past few months and a year, I've lost people I hold dear
I'm still alive, but I must confess it's hard to bear
I'll be lying if I say I don't know why, it's all clear
I'm sure they know too, because they're not here
Is it family members that left without a word?
Or a lover that left with my world?
Is it friends who became formal as we communicated?
Now, it feels like we all never bonded
Life Goes On, they say
Some things are inevitable, try as you may

I love old people
I love babies
I love sun
I love moon
I love everything yet
I feel like I am the most selfish person ever alive
Maybe deep down
I am forced to love old people as a form of sympathy that they are dying soon
Maybe I love babies for my cause I feel safe and not judged
Maybe I love the sun because it's the reason behind pretty skies
Maybe I love the moon because everyone does
Can I simply love anything without any explanation?
