a sacred ritual
i repeat affirmations to my body as if holy offerings and allow my heart to feel deeply the glorious vision i hold for life. i sit with my traumatic silence and reassure her it's safe to speak my truth again. i chant mantras and sing songs of shiva to win over fear, fight my battle and emerge victorious. i write everyday; to thank for my blessings, to release my pain, to say the unsaid, to celebrate my achievement and to calm my anxiousness. i write to get in flow, to get in alignment, to connect with the highest and to create art. i sage my space & self and say my prayers. i call upon durga and kaali to channel through me in times uncertain.
as a sacred ritual, i allow myself to cry until i feel deeply vulnerable as i release pain. i love myself as if nurturing a child & respect myself as if honouring a goddess.

Sacred Meeting
I look for you in every face,
I call you in every name,
But truly i can see you only in me,
Not with the eyes of mine, but of heart,
Not in the limitations of time or in space,
But out beyond where time is not and no distance,
In me i find you, though I see nothing,
But atleast you hear me, that I'm sure of,
Why do i feel the need to be heard,
I know nobody is qualified enough except you in my heart,
You take all my nonsensical noises,
Magical you are, to turn them into bliss,
The bliss of utter silence, where i am kissed,
A place of dissolution, where nobody is to be missed,
Heart becomes my temple, where you are to be worshipped,
Very soon both us get lost, and what remains should not be told.

Electronic vibrations echo within my heart with a resonate boom
Filling in the cracks that pain and trauma have created
It's my full expression I see feeling so elated

Don't look away, or bypass the magic with just a glance
Stand up for your beliefs and look me in the eye
Don't deny yourself of the most precious beauty that lay awake inside

Nighttime provides the darkness and rest as I linger in shadows, claiming what is difficult to recognize in the light
Manifesting the breadcrumbs that are left along the way as the harvest, fuel to be alchemized into spiritual truth
Sacred dance steps are the movement of my soul, guided by love, they tell a story, transcribed by heart
Winds of change blow leading me to new paths and pastures of thought
Sun's rays glow in love's light, reminding me to let go
Rain falls down from the heavens cleansing pain from the past
Completing the rhythm, introspective expression, moving me onwards to feel
Rebuilding foundation upon further appeal
To rise after each cycle, to love again and again
Elevation of soul heals my heart with its wisdom

Broken sacred
The eyes can't hide what the lips can't say.
I was so much wishing she would give me a chance,
At least a time and place,
Where I can be myself and not hide the feelings.
But I wasn't thoughtful of my wishes.
Without a conscious hold of my thoughts,
On the first time alone with her
The first kiss connected the dots.
It felt like she had sugar on her lips.
I could feel her heart racing against mine,
Our nerves spoke so loud, but the sex was quiet.
That moment made me realise age difference meant nothing.
I learnt what my age didn't know;
As we laid in our birth-suit feeling like wild teens.
I don't know what I lost, perhaps my sense of guilt or time.
Nevertheless, from that day on,
The look in her eyes became my bait.
But experience has changed my unconscious thoughts.
I have become witness to a broken sacred body.
