Every Diwali we get into fight whether we should ban crackers or not.
And suddenly the discussion which started as an environmental issue takes the form of religious issue.
We start pointing out fingers at each other.
But please for a moment forget what religion you follow.
Forget everything you have been told till now.
And listen to your own heart!
Ask any of your friends/relatives suffering from Asthma that how they feel on Diwali Night.
Ask any of your dog lover friends how afraid dogs get on Diwali Eve. Many run away from their own area and then end up getting lost or attacked by other dogs.
Ask any of your Bird lover friends how many birds die each year.
Before you start judging me and start pointing out what people from my religion do, I would like to tell you bursting cracker is bad no matter who does it and on which occasion.
Whether it's Diwali, Gurpurab or any other festival.
