Reunion
Eyes filled with tears, memories and thoughts running through my mind, that very warm hug made chills run down my spine.
With our throat completely chocked we struggled to utter, fighting hard to hold our tears back we finally laughed hard.
Walking through the corridors of the same old building almost after 12 year which was once our second home, meeting those idiots again without whom our childhood would had been a hell, seeing those proud faces ready to welcome us at the stage.
That was the moment when we felt a indifferent happiness, finally we realised we made it are , we have made our teachers proud.
Entering into those empty classroom, looking at those empty desk, we were lost somewhere, it felt as if we went on a time travel back to those beautiful days.
The chatter box of the batch have now turned into a serious aristocrat,the introvert is now a named lawyer, the girl with two ponytails and zero fashion sense is now a famous fashion designer, the poor debater is now a political leader, the naughtiest boy of the class is now a disciplined army officer.
Yes we all were back together to the same place, yet nothing was same now, neither were we the old us, the only thing we had in common was our bonding, our friendship was still intact even after all these years.
Reunion was a really bliss for us.
Our school again taught us something important.
You should not be quick to judge anyone on the basis of their mark's or behaviour you never know where life will take you.
And that warm hug form my school bestfriend made me realise you don't need to talk daily to main any relation if its pure it will always retain its charm.

I am in a position where people often address me as “mam / sis / simply my name.” Nobody would name call me directly, because of the position I hold at my workplace.
So, among those texts that read mam / sis, her text of “idiot” brought me a memory storm. I thought for a while, nobody would dare to call me like that, unless they are my school friends. Because, they are the ones with whom you grew up with. You may become a great person, but for them you are still that last roll number / first bencher / talkative/ outstanding / lazy / class leader / fighter-cock girl or boy. That’s why they say, school friends are precious!
