Why do you want a friend? Is it because you are lonely? Is it because you depend or rely on them? Is it to have companionship?
Is it out of your insufficiency, depending on another to fulfil or fill that emptiness, and therefore you are using, exploiting another to cover your insufficiency and utter emptiness, and so call that person a friend?
Most of us are lonely, and the older we get, the more lonely. We discover our emptiness, what it means to be lonely, to have no friend at all because you have led a superficial life and invested your thought, your feelings in another.
And when they go away or die, you feel so lonely and empty. Out of that emptiness, there is self-pity, and then you again begin the game of seeking somebody to fill that loneliness.
Can you see all this and learn from it? Learn what it means to be lonely and not escape from it; look at it, live with it, see what is implied so that psychologically you depend on nobody.
Then only will you know what it means to love.

प्यास को प्यार ना समझें।
जब प्यास लगती है तब कुछ चाहिए होता है, जैसे कि पानी या कोई इंसान और जब प्यार होता है तो आप अपने अंदर से खुशियां निकालकर बांटते हैं।
प्यास अगर ना बुझे तो तकलीफ़ होती है। लेकिन जब प्यार होता है, तब यदि आप खुशियां बांट सके, आप तो भी खुश, नहीं बांट सके, आप तो भी खुश।
अगर गौर से देखिएगा तो पता चलेगा कि प्यार का मतलब होता है सारे प्यास का हमेशा के लिए अंत।
परस्पर एक-दूसरे की प्यास बुझाना एक तरह का सौदा है।
जबतक मांग और पूर्ति चलती रहती है, इसकी दुकान चलती रहती है। अगर दोनों में से कोई एक भी खत्म होता है तो सौदा टूट जाता है। और लोग फिर से प्यासे हो जाते हैं। लत लगने के कारण थोड़ी देर के लिए दुख में होते हैं उसके बाद किसी और की तलाश करते हैं फिर से प्यास बुझाने के लिए।
प्यार का मतलब है आपके सारे तलाश का अंत। प्यार का मतलब है कि आप सूरज बन गए हैं। सूरज को इस बात से कोई तकलीफ नहीं है कि कौन उसकी रौशनी ले रहा है और कौन नहीं। प्यार का मतलब है कि आप फूल बन गए हैं। फूल को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है कि उसका सुगंध कौन ले रहा है कौन नहीं। वह फूल खुशी से इतना पागल है कि वह सुगंध के रूप में अपनी खुशियां बांट रहा है।
प्यास बहुत आम है। सारे भूखे-प्यासे जानवर प्यास को समझते हैं। प्यार को बहुत कम लोग समझ पाते हैं। अगर तर्क के नज़र से देखें तो प्यार तो एक तरह का पागलपन है। प्यासे जानवरों को प्यार कभी नहीं समझ में आएगा। और प्यासे कभी प्यार नहीं कर सकते हैं।4 0

Jack and Jill could not get up the hill
For one was lazy, the other one ill
And none between them seemed to have enough will,
To stand up right and fight for the hill.
But Jack looked fit, who even chuckled a bit,
At Jill who laid sick and unable to sit,
So, Jack has to bring, a filled bucket from the hill,
Of water from the well that called the people through its bell.
But, Jack turned dull,
At the call of the belling well
He rather sat to the ringing bell
Feeling disturbed and feeling hell.
Now, Jill felt the air,
Young Jack's ail he couldn't bear
He rather vigorously rose
Giving an excuse to his short repose.
He rose with his running nose
Like a sucked Ape for a Chimpanzee's pose.
His eyes turned red and gory
With feverish fierce and a big brother's worry.
Jill knew what he supposed to do,
So, took a step further for a scarier move.
And next what happened, was all that happened
To keep young Jack from what would have happened.
A single, timely, deadly blow
Which raised in Jack all elements that had been low.
So, Jack from now went smiling up to the hill
To throw old ills and bring the buckets filled.

It's just the 1st day of August today,
The air is the same, everything is plane, nothing August anyway
These adults still look cold, most young ones as usual, loosing their hold,
Women busy with their chores, while the old ones just the same idle, lazy and bored.
On seeing all this even I felt low, no excitement on my part, no means for a glow
But then suddenly, I felt a blow, a gush from the ground, a shrill that shook me from the core.
For 8 little Barbarians appeared, pouncing like drunken knights for some gore
They were jumping, they were thumping, they were tackling each other with their might
So some were thrushed, some brushed, some crushed all hypnotized.
These people were in a frenzy, a different kind at its height
The cause I couldn't fathom, so like them I raised my eyes
And then of course, I saw the sky, I saw the birds, I saw a fly
And as I peered, I finally came by, a bird of plastic, wow a kite in the sky.
The kite looked lost, It just swayed and dwindled and was making it to the ground
All peepers like mine simply peeping at it like that a lost one found,
While I made a leap further at a whim behaving like a hound
And joined the insane, little army of kids, adding a thump to the shaking ground.
The trailing string of the kite, I couldn't catch, but caught the lost spirit after a severe match
And when all of this got over, surprised I found many lit with me, a change in the facial flavour.
A short drama that showed the childish demeanor all over where consciousness poked and cried it again and over, "The flesh and blood gets old, not men, not me".

Corona Leela
26 stairs for our room,
24 tiled squares in the bathroom.
Toilet door creaks more than the washroom one,
The lady at the next door spoke ill of the other one.
Crappy mentions one may believe, these are,
But No! they are just productive moments from Corona and her Lockdown Leela so far.
Meanwhile, some were caught up in Art and some by Arth (Wealth)
Some turned meditative, while some under the earth
Some gave smiles, but some lost them all
Some saved lives, while some gave it off
And then one day, all these Somes' summed up to All
Which made the Corona Leela Off the Wall.

She may come and just take it away
Our doors, we have closed, closed are all others
For everyone scared that she may come and just take tolls away.
Those plans we made have got old, older have got those savings,
I wouldn't want to lose them, yet I am scared that she may someday stay and just take them away.
My pals are all lost, lost are the moments in their own four or eight walls,
Each had to forget the rest, for none would like her to stay and step at someone's nest.
Hey! who are these people, I wonder, simply wandering like this, with big sacks clinging in their sinking backs and hips
Are they immune to her? or is it that they have lost their wits. Will she even hitch to take them away?
Just then an elderly voice from the back spoke, spoke something that left me beaten and broke,
It said, "Those are men running from hunger then her! their fate on their heads to tease, to spur, a scarier enemy to take them away".
And then the silence in the parlor broke, for broke a breaking news giving a bigger stroke.
The elder one was true, 12 labourers were run over by a Mail in a queue, they were all walking back home, but ended up walking off life, yet another one than her that took them away.
Millions like these risking lives in the streets, empty stomach the cause, the cause of many causes,
Saying this, the elder left, left many questions and a boggling mind, a theft of my peace, so I cursed in the heat for all her foul means that she took yet taking to snatch lives away.
A ruthless creature !!, the Satan's elder sister, a Putana in town, who callously grabs children below five old ones above fifty, diabetics and weak ones the first ones in her history.
She is such a miniature, yet takes lives like a nuclear, so small yet so big!! too difficult for anyone of us to pick.
Wait !! I won't go on screaming like this any further, but would like to end up with a point for all of us to ponder. "Corona comes and takes away, but only if we give her a way".
So, why not keep a distance between each other now and show her the right way farther somehow.

Peace - a child's play but too far in a man's way
Went about complaining, budging and quarrelling, cursing and accusing to hefty schedules for lack of peace.
But now its lockdown, so I am free, I am at ease, I am at bed, I am at feast, yet looking for peace, where is peace?
Next was a quest, a quest with some zest, through the cosy bed, rosy wife, smoking pot, boozy vibe, yet looking for peace, where's this peace ?
And then the cellphone, the laptop, the earphones, the old movies the new songs none left me happy, none gave me peace, the one that I was dying for.
But then I noticed these small kids looked peaceful, they were happy, they were easeful, no drinks they ever
took, no girls, I shook. Yet!! How? I thought. Where did they bought?
On seeing them I sighed, where did mine hide, have I been lied? or was it a misguide? Now giving all up, I closed my eyes, only left for cries, hoping peace after demise
And than the eyes poured, poured tears with renouncing sighs, a give up of mine, a final stop to the find.
As this went by, something happened!! any guess what happened?
A cool breeze within stroked, and than tranquility broke, broke from every cell, and ran through the gore, leaving eyes to pour, all golds and ores.
And finally Peace spoke, but spoke very little, it rather queried that left me buried.
"Where did you find me, do you even know?,
Where did you find me, do you even know?"

Materialistic Days
Depth was what we all craved for and death was another that we turned grave at,
But Postponement became nature, that seemed to work,
Worked well on both. Although lately realized that it never did.
The mysterious curtain of Sensual aroma was enough to fold and veil all that,
All that, which was wide and sublime, which was enlightening and deep
To lure us to its tricky heaven, that turned arcane as if it's own woven. And here we were left stranded and grey, too ruined for woe too old to move, just left to pray only left to pray.

मन के मते ना चल मन तो है एक भृंग
लेता है फैसले ये देख रूप रंग
घेरे है इसको पग पग अनेको प्रलोभन
रहता है मग्न ये सदा कामना के संग
बिना मन पे विजय के, तय है तेरा खोना
जीव जरूरी आत्मज्ञान है पाना ।।धृ।।
हर तरफ बिछा, माया का जाल है
सत्य क्या असत्य क्या ये सवाल है
सख्त बड़ी है जीवन की ये दलदल
उभरना है तुझको, बन के रे कवल
युक्त होके भी विरक्त है होना
जीव जरूरी आत्मज्ञान है पाना ।।१।।
आयेगी सन्मुख अनेकों भावना
उसी क्षण तू जगा दे अन्तःचेतना

एकाग्र होके तू, पायेगा ठिकाना

पाप पुण्य, सुख दुख, अशुध्द शुद्ध का
युगों से चल रहा खेल मन के युद्ध का
भटक ना जाए तू, अंधेर द्वैत है
अद्वैत सूर्य है, अखंड सत्य है
सोई आत्मा को, ज्ञान से है, आज जगाना
जीव जरूरी आत्मज्ञान है पाना ।।३।।
