Graceful, pleasing and
fragrant, the rose fills me with
fascinating thoughts.
I tell my friends to
handle roses with care but
they ridicule me.
"It's just another
ornamental flower." they
dismiss my appeals.
How can it be so
when it's caught countless poets'
imagination?
I hate to see it
in a withered state though it's
inevitable.
