Felt like a tigress flaunting her stripes
I found it rather beautiful
Pretty lines running along my hips, they call it stretchmarks and some call it scars
Embracing becoming of a woman
Graduating from a girl to a woman
Gave me a sense of elation
It's the so called imperfections to the world what makes us all different, unique and beautiful, wish they could see through my eyes.

I Need Me A Man
One from the multiple Solitude
A man capable of Gracing and appreciating true Beauty
One that defies conventional standards from the society
I need Me a Man
Who kisses my freckles
And disregards my Wrinkles
Who appreciates my tone
And finds my stretch marks Sexy
Oh He does Exist
A man with Mental Independence
One who can accept My imperfections
And make me feel whole Again
One who’s see me as his Sun
And the His Moon in the Dark Times.
One with whom I can watch the stars
And Build imaginations about the galaxies
A Man who Will Love My Flaws
Love My Imperfections and Love all the indexes of my Insecurities
A Man who can Love My Naked Soul
And Not just the size of My Breast
Or how fleshy my Supple Bum Is
Or By the colour of my skin
I Need A Man that can Accept My Goofiness and find it Funny
A Man that can Water My weaknesses and Make me strong,
A Man with whom I can lay out all my imperfections on the table and not expect a tantrum in Return.
I need a Man who will still love me
After Learning I cannot lace my shoes myself
One that kisses my forehead and runs his fingers through my hair
One that can bring out the best version of Me.

Stretch marks
At first I panic when I saw them . Saw them in places that I never thought I will see them.
I felt ashamed .
I felt unattractive.
I felt fear that no one will find me appealing.
Later I thought of how I gained them.
I gained them by growing.
I gained them by trying.
I gained them by living.
Then I felt pride , attractive and brave.
Pride for I have grown form a child who knew little into an adult who have experienced hardships.
Attractive for I have tried and failed , but got back up again .
Brave for I have lived and not just existent .
So my stretchmarks are now my most attractive feature.
Any person think other wise ? Well clearly they know nothing about me thus their opinion is irrelevant.

You're Valid
We were all beautiful in our eyes once,
Then the troubling reality hit us,
We weren't perfect,
We seem to believe that makes us invalid.
That's not the reality of this situation,
If you're perfect then you're invalid,
You don't need someone's opinion to make you valid,
You don't need someone to tell you that you,re beautiful,
You need imperfections,
Whether those are stretchmarks, freckles, scars or anything that shows you have fought a battle and won.
There's a story behind every imperfection,
A brave one,
A beautiful one.

Insecure- my story
This is my story,
Story about my body,
Body which I am not proud,
Not proud of those stretch marks,
Stretch marks which tells I was fat once.
This is my body,
Body of uneven skin,
Skin which has lots of hair,
Hair which are too thick for a woman,
Woman who are not supposed to be hairy.
This is my life,
Life full of insecurity,
Insecurity from every girl,
Every girl who looks better then me,
Me who feels all are watching my flaws.

Momma's belly got some flying birds
Lying beside your belly
Every dawn and dusk
I used to gaze upon those stretch marks
Your belly endured
Through wide and wandering eyes
As if they were flying birds under clear sky
My curious mind
One day toned so high
That it asked those marks
If they were a Mural?
A mural depicting some stories behind
Like the one I saw in the drawing room
Which portrays one unborn in a womb
Seeing them trying to utter
When you laughed and your belly tittered
Those marks seemed to me,
as the birds chirping
Whatever they were
A mural or the birds?
But, a connection between us.
A proof to the Universe.
