As the day comes to a close
a fragment after a Ritalin dose
the world covers itself in the dark
with the end-user feeling...
so not in luck
freezing, frozen assets shudder
postponing the inevitable.
the physical itches
mind has glitches
like a child mosquito-bitten
twitches uncontrollably
the hand moves over
auto-pilot has taken over
a call in pending progress
begging to be answered
receiver up!
only time and notion strays off action
or is it reaction?
busy tone
I’m switching off the damn phone!
