Ik tera posheed hona, chupaya ni jata.
Samne bethe ho aaj bhi tum aankhon ke jaise....
Palkon ka humse magr uthaya ni jata.
Ikhtiyar , barosa, wafadari, ye jo alfaz hain ,
hum aaj bhi likhten hain.
Zuban se magr ab humse ada ni ho pata.
Ye kahani jo tumne mukhtsar kar di hai...
Hum se iska unwaan tak likha ni jata.
