I can't believe I missed it in my earlier writings and studyings on the armor of God. But in Eph. 6:16 Paul says "above all, taking the shield of faith".

Did you hear that?

Did you catch that?

"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." - Ephesians 6:16

Above all.

Every piece of armor is vital.

But above all take up the shield of faith.

In other words, don't forget the shield of faith.

Make sure you use it.

So there are different types of faiths.

When you are in a battle you want to use a good solid shield.

Because we are in a spiritual battle we need to have a faith that is solid and strong.

And the faith we have better be in the only one worth having faith in, the one and only God."

Why is that?

It is because Satan hates mankind.

He hates all of mankind and would destroy everyone is He could.

Some people are trapped by Satan and his lies. But those of us who are free from Satan should fight against him.
"We need to fight against Satan for our own souls, but it shouldn't end there we should also fight against Satan for others souls."
We need to fight against Satan for the human race.

Not only is fighting against Satan the best thing we can do for mankind, the way in which we do it is great for mankind to.
"It may sound kind of funny but in our war against Satan we are required to be nicer to people than if we were not fighting against Satan."
