We became strangers again,
When I saw you walking
Down that lane.
From best friends to lovers
Here we are,
When I look back
You've gone too far.
Never knew it would
End this way,
You are all gone now
And I dunno what to say.

You used to be my forever family
Now you're just memories on a wall
I find myself often trying to recall
When did we last speak?
Not the day to day banter
But deep in the nitty-gritty
Funny how time pulls people apart
Nothing went wrong and no one's at fault
But neither of our phones have rung
like the longest game of chicken and no one is winnin.
Guess that's what makes us forever
Not meant to come to an end but to remain unfinished.

Unfinished Draft
Flow of tears
1000's of words
hidden feelings...
I type them all
till my fingers say "I need rest"
when it comes to then 'Send' button..
My heart aches and the beat stops
The love music in which we were lost
haunts me like an unforgettable night mare..
and.. there I go and save it as a draft
still having millions to say
I end up saying nothing...
It end up as an UNFINISHED DRAFT...

Unfinished
On a dark night by the moonlight,
She'd always find her way out, she'd always strive,
She'd always win her fight!
Once, twice, thrice!
She'd keep acing, she'd rise to the highest of the heights!
With the bravery of that of a tiger!
She'd never give up, she's a known fighter!
Face so red with anger and eyes full of power!
Like a thunderbolt, her spirits are never diminished!
She has no limits!
Her story will always be unfinished.

Unfinished
I watered other plants instead
of mine. luck has never been on
my side. There are many people who want my back, but I realised their impotent impact .
Today is innocent but I often think about yesterday . I don't remember when I was little girl .
They say they know me and I am still trying to know myself .
I have seen dreamy evening from my empty eyes .
They tied all the threads that were made of lies.
Lastly, I left with potrait of love , unspoken words and .........unfinished story .

हसरतें तो कई थीं, मगर वक्त कहा।
मै रूह की सुनती थी और तुम ठहरे दिमाग के हवाले।
रेशम सा इकरार था तुम्हारा,
एतबार था जिस डोर पर हमारा,
क्या कहें, बड़ी जल्दी हार मान लेने वाला प्यार था तुम्हारा।
मेरी ही मृगतृष्णा होगी,
जो कुरबत समझा,
वो निकला महज़ परछाया तुम्हारा।

A never ending night shrouded in misery
They call it love
And I wonder why

The heart was supposed to bloom now lying crumbled in the corner.
Endless nights spent in this gold-clad cage,
key lost in the depths of traditions and customary.
The prince that was promised turned into a frightening beast,
They say I lost the one,
who was never intented to be mine.
My shrills left unheard,
My wounds untended,
Who is going to save me?
The society?
I bet not,
Sigh! I surrender,

Forever Undone
The remnants of yesterday's heart
Make me hate what I wrote tomorrow
The rememberance of yesterday's start
Make me await what I know to be sorrow
I shiver at the ignorance of my part
And taste what I know to be hollow
But as these innocent scars fall apart and the twinkle in my eye falls to dark
I dare glance the gospels, I haven't forgotten Mark
The shattered pieces scream and it's dire
As they handle my demons while they're breathing in violence
I hear every whisper every voice in the silence
I hear very distant and every noise when it's quiet
Blind to the eye won't you open up an eyelid
Why did you die won't you open up cuz I did

I unlock my phone and see tens of incomplete, partially saved notes - words left hanging, because I couldn't find the right ones to follow. Notes that were opened in the hope that they would express how I felt about something, after a trigger that momentarily sent a rush of emotions to my head. Most of them end up unfinished and occupy a place on my phone for no reason except to remind me how much of a quitter I am. But I know some words will always remain unwritten, some songs will stay unsung, some emotions will go away unexpressed, and some stories in life will always remain unfinished. Maybe somewhere in a parallel universe, these stories have a happy ending. But then again, what's a happy ending if not a story unfinished?

I had a dream about being lonely, about feeling regret, a dream about longing, a dream I'm insecure and afraid to misstep. I wanted to be fulfilled, it was just like real life. It lasted less than the night.
