    That Unnoticed Sunrise

Sunsets are liked by many but those unnoticed sunrises are love
Only those have that chance of watching it who prefer early rove

Ambling in the dawn twilights ,and waiting for the sunrise in the blue hour
It's single glance seems enough to my exasperated tired soul to devour

Gazing it unblinkingly with eyes full of tears of joy
That few minutes of heart catching view appears not enough to my soul so coy

Such a magical scene yet go so unnoticed
Daily observed by early birds which look invisibly caged

Moments of mesmerizing beauty not always adored by unfaithful sakers
As it's glowing light sometimes tends to be a curse for some late wakers

Being an introvert I just wanna be unnoticed,
Life is easy when you don't have to explain,
It has peace when nobody cares,
It is joyful when you don't have to think what the others will say.

    His eyes are clear,
    Pure like crystal ice.
He sees through anything and everything.
His mind are mountains of knowledge.
Traveling, walking strolling from States to cities and countries to villages.
His heart, a well of wealth.
    Love lost between
    Ideas that Invade heavy choas.
    He fights and struggles,
    As death awaits him.
    Unseen, unnoticed.
    In it's shield of Gold.
    The Wanderer,
    Seeks for knowledge,
For the pot of wisdom is a basket.
Carrying it, through thick forest and light deserts and empty islands.
And when death comes, in form of old age.
    He realizes,
It is the gods who have woven his destiny.
    Not him.
For every journey, comes an end.
    And wealth, fame, and knowledge
    Would get lost within the sands of time;
It would wash away in the water of life.

    Sorrow

Fragile in the light of eve
as dusk draws down upon the day
a wisp of silver hair escapes
    from the halo strands adorning.

    Loveliness faded watered down
a face once fair and radiant
softened from the lines of life
    sorrow for the beauty mourning.

    Memories drift like dandelions
scattered in a field of longing
    voices echo from yonder years
    visions shapeshift never forming.

Eyes as blue as far horizons
search for angels to take her hand
    joins them quietly leaves unnoticed
    dawn awakens with sorrow's warning.

    The Freedom of my Love

I want the freedom to show you my love
You've made my heart soar, high like a dove

And I want to tell you what's on my mind
How your presence is caring and kind

I want to see you and feel your touch
It's what I dream of, very much

I need that first hug and that tender kiss
    You're what I need, it's you that I miss

    When the sun falls in
    another tangerine glass and
moon bestow ivory to the sky,
    I wonder how many existences
    and mortal souls has poetry
    kept alive and bonafide.

    Do words flow like winds
    and blow life to moribund?
    Or do they keep giving
    birth to lines that bloom
    into a poetry,
whose ending is yet to grow
    but carry spirits that were
    left to be rotten.

    Are words enough to
    shelter fading hearts into
    poems rather than burying
    them in graveyards?
Or are they a mere voice
    of broken hut mourning
for the lost wave of hope
    that curled across the resting
    sea last time, when grief
was spilled from the pen of
    a bard.

    When the sun settles back
to the margin of blue sky and
    moon slips down to slumber,
I still wonder how many lives
    has poetry kept alive,
    and how many emotions has
    poetry abandoned to be rusted
    and drowned in
    loveliest demise.

    I just want you to know;
    You are strong,
    When you feel weak.
    I just want you to know;
    You are beautiful,
    When you feel ugly.
    I just want you to know;
    You are competent,
    When you feel rejected.
    I just want you to know;
    You are needed,
    When everyone turn their backs.

Maybe it's better to roam about unnoticed
To do your thing with so much pride
That you forget that some see it as a competition
That where you are in life
Is where you need to be even if you dont make waves just yet
Have you noticed that the shoreline does its work without praise
    Its duty without being reminded

Yet for order to remain even the shoreline has an important part to play
I will be like the shoreline; do what is required to the best of my ability
    No matter who notice
In the end it is not about being seen
It's about what will speak for you when you cant

You worked from monday to Sunday
Early morning you left for work
When you came back home at 9 or 10
you continued with your typewriter to earn Few extra bucks, you had to feed 3 of us
Used to think why you aren't sitting with us
Dont you love us like the parents of other children growing up in neighborhood

Their father came at 5 or 6 from the office
Everything kept doing in the background was unnoticed
    from the children eyes
It required to have a heart to understand the tough times you faced
    Never expressing anything
Not much time left to celebrate or to take us to the outstation

Coming from a simple background only motive you had was to somehow give the best of education to the kids.
We used to get two pair of clothes each year one for Holi and one for the birthday
Pondering why you never bought anything for yourself

Everyone used to dress up excited on those two days.
Never saw you smiling in the wake of feeding us
Could understand all of this only when i grew up and have to be answerable for every penny i earned
A large part of being a father was unnoticed

As i grow the fears of similar things happening to me
    Chills my bone
Going unnoticed for 20-25 years by my kids
    Is hard to imagine
I pray to God to give me the strength where i dont shell out my frustrations and lower my expectation just the way my father successfully did.

In between our laughs and talks,
    Seasons passed,
The golden meadow did a makeover,
With new green look, it impressed the sky.
Nomad clouds visited the wide field.
I and you were sitting on edge,
    witnessing this event with amaze.
While our hearts were exchanging their addresses.
All anxiety and worries left us unnoticed....

Inspired after viewing Will Smith’s Best Shape of My Life on YouTube. Sometimes getting in our best physical shape can surprisingly cause us realize how other faucets of ourselves need to be reshaped for a better version of ourselves.

    If We Met,
    I too Will
    inform you
    I can hide behind a
    mask of jewel laughter
    when I feel unprotected.

    If We Met,
    I too Will
    nod my head in unison
    being consumed
    in perfecting myself.

    If We Met,
    I too Will
    can speak of the
    fear that held my
    courage hostage
    for years.

    If We Met,
    I too Will
    confess of the
    ridiculous price
    I’ve paid to release
    much cowardice.

    If We Met

    The Rager's Range

"I'll never cook again!," She shouts, undressing.
And also this, with holes in clothes, "I'll never sew!"
Just like a voice with raised up fists.

    Torn in-between,
You close your eyes as if you knew that this was coming.
Above the lids, where color sits, no blinker on.
Her shoes, not running. Her face, like stone.

With shaking wrists I picture this,
The pain she feels, living on; unnoticed.
The table's set but across it's body,
Instead of laughter, dust has grown.
