I write your name on this white grainy beach
Failed your attention, to you never did it reach
These letters, this affectionate display,
I wonder if waves shall soon wash them away
Cold wind disheveling this imprint
Curious eye would notice, but it didn't!
Sea shells shall soon wake up to a clear sand!

Are camouflaged within the four corners of my room.
And they resonate deeply down my spine.
A lot of times, they create my universe.
Sometimes, they make holes round my being.
And disrupts the bubble of comfort I’ve built.

Age
Growing old is inevitable,
But that doesent mean there is no fear,
But when you cannot do anything,
Why not instead spread cheer!!!
Live in the present,
So when the time comes,

IT HURTS
It hurts doesn't it?
When you decide to be something
and life hits you with a different thing,
After finishing your plans and
Closing your eyes to sleep with the mind to start the very next day.
Doesn't it hurt when you create and idea and it's better done by someone else?
The inferiority complex that comes with a half done job, finished by another stranger.
The feeling of seeing it better executed than you even dreamt of
The dread of creating yet another imperfection.
It hurts doesn't it?
When everyone thinks you're perfect at what you do
But you know, it could be better.
Everyone pushes you as you're tired
Tired of being told what to do and when to do it.
But you know what hurts the most? Giving up and watching someone else live the life you could have lived.4 2 1

My Bhaisiya, who waj waiting outside the house, moo-ed, waiting for chaara.
I waj worried because News Channels all over were screaming 'Omicron'
And I feared if I will have to shut my Paan Sop due to another Lockdown
Joru placed her hands on my shoulder and said, "Phaak the lockdown!
We will sell your Paan online! Have phood and later me a Special Paan."

"Phaak it! You're right, Joru. I will not give up, Phaak it, I will phind out ways,
I will work Night aind Day, I will do everything in my might!", my confidence spoke
"OK but don't pharget us in the process", laughed my Joru aind my Bhaisiya.

The Grey Swan
Can't we be an absolute Black or a total White like swans?
There's a beauty in the existence of polar opposites in everything
The seeking of personal power is one, the living in purity is another
The black swans dancing in vigor along the white swans moving in grace
They can distinguish and yet trust each other with the identity of differences
While Humans have defiled all institutions, and painted ourselves Grey to deceive.

The Green banana leaf, many sumptuous foods served on it
The woman is busy making more rotis for everyone seated to eat
Her act is called selfless, sacrificing; also praised as sacred by the men
Who stay young with each morsel, while she gives away from the Somras within.

fold me in threads
a thousand pieces alike
carve me instead
of setting the sun alight

there's always more than i
seek in my head
if i hold my breath
cut my throat
i love you so
maybe I'll kill myself
next tuesday
there's a storm on
the offering
by the window
i wonder if this
month will ever end
how about tomorrow
when it is sunny and
bright
all things considered
i don't think i prefer the blue
skies anymore
maybe something more
grey and tired
like an autumn afternoon just
before the winter
whence the air is crisp
and there's ambient silence
like a painting you cannot
stop staring at
maybe it is september
i cry for after all
i hope it's not october.

In an empty room of life,
She entered as a chinese chive,
Wine of love, she poured,
Sky of joy, she roared.
And, etched a mountain of memories
Yet, the iffy peal of fate,
Ushered us to hazy gates,
I behold her, in my dream,
Cuddling loneliness, I scream,
Mystifying margaritas, I gulp
Now, I'm forlorn,
In blue, adorned,
Sky whispers heartlessness,
They smile starless,
And so cold.
