The Grass
The grass sick and lean,
Turning nearly yellow.
With water, it looked clean,
Revived it's hello.
Thanking the rain,
It gave out a cry.
Saved from pain,
Rescued from dry.
Water offers life,
To all living things,
Makes it possible to thrive,
To it, the life clings.

ये मरियल सा कबूतर मुझे metro station के भरे भीड़ में यमराज को पुकारता दिखा...मेरे पास कुछ साधन नहीं थे ओर मैं जल्दबाज़ी में भी था...पर कहीं कुछ जाके एक जगह से एक कागज की प्लेट मिली..और उसमें पानी देख के मानो ये कबूतर अपना इरादा ही बदल लिया��.. ये चित्र मैंने किसी दिखावे के लिए नहीं..बल्कि एक सुझाव के रूप में साँझा किया है...आपके आस पास भी कोई असमर्थ जीव ऐसे ही अपनी सांस न तोड़ दे..मात्र दो घूँट पानी के लिए!
