The Anxiety Game
The Anxiety Game that plays me out
For it isn't I who play it;
It chokes me, perspires me, it makes a monkey out of me;
Like sparrows, I waver; like a Rag Picker's mongrel, I sniff;
Like a baboon is my disposition, looking for the garbage within me,
To add a tumbler more of it and then finally sit by the side covering the nose with my dirty hands.

To my parlour of philosophy

A little warmth of my arms,
A whispering baritone,
A forgiving fun,
An unlamented chance.
I shall wilt and waver,
Sulk the sombre,
And build thee a hut of love.
You could hold, lie and await
An oncoming of burgeoning hopes.

Three friends
We three were pretty good friends in and out of school. One lived in my colony. We both met and instantly became buddies since second grade. I remember we used to play and whenever I make a win in our team, she would hug me close and pull me up. I met the second friend later. She always has heartbreaks even in minute situations. In the end she would vent her feelings out to me. In school we were always together. Even the teachers had begun to recognise our bond.
Time has changed. We went separate paths. Contacts gradually diminished. I was the first one to get married in the group. Second friend's place was same as mine but she was working in the South. I can't believe she preferred attending her room mate's wedding than my engagement. Ok, that's not it. Then she made excuse for not being able to make it to my wedding. "Shit yar, so sorry." But she had all the leaves she could manage to go on random trips.
First friend also settled on a fine job. Both hardly remember my birthday. Instead one sends beautiful greetings on the social network to one of our own other school mates with whom she hardly talked before and now has become great buddies.
Our friend group both online and offline have almost stopped working. No one bothers to ask of my married life. I constantly dream of them but they seem to enjoy another life. They hardly speak. Sigh! I just hope the best for them.
