It's the same narrative I hear from Women around me , they could do this and that and yet they won't , as they might land up hurting the loved one....
We fall in the trap of duties that are to be divided, not burdened. When she decides to do her thing, she is shot down..
But as Angelou says "just like dust I'll rise".
When will she rise though
I am tired and scared of history repeating itself, it's high time to change the narrative.
I do not blame the men here, as women are being educated and not liberated.
The decision to not liberate oneself from the past hurt and carrying on with the cycle is selfish and the punishment to the next generation of women.
It has to be recognised by the women, to not only educate but to instill courage and never feel guilt of one's own choice. Women need to find herself in amidst of chaous which seem permanent, but the road ahead is free...
