So , most of the ppl know abt sex-selective abortion.
It is the practice of terminating a pregnancy based upon the predicted sex of the infant.
It's mainly done in girl child case which means male children are more valued as compared to female children.
According to me , abortion is a murder.
No one has right to kill anyone before his /her birth.

As mentioned above in the poetry , a girl child is telling her feelings to her mother nd blaming her also that her mother is killing her. So .. absolutely no, in most of the cases , the mothers are forced by their family to abort the girl child.
There is no intension to blame only a mother for the abortion.

Thnkyou @_aradhana di for suggesting me this topic❤️✨

In the beautiful garden called world, people are differentiated by their gender. One gets the throne and other bounds to cage.Don't you think gender inequality has a great impact on Literacy rate? Yes you are right. According to 2011 census in India 74% of people are educated. Can you believe only 64.1% of women are educated and rest 36% are bound to a 4-Dimensional cage!!

When I asked an illiterate woman why didn't you send your daughter to school, she replied "Why does she need to study. We will get her a educated and earning husband. All she have to do is take care of her family." Another woman replied " Girl's duty is to take care of her husband and her family. It's her husband's duty to do a job and earn money." Just then I thought these people doesn't have awareness on woman education. They doesn't know what a woman can do if proper education is provided to her. I thought bringing awareness will solve the problem and girls from all the corners will be educated.

Anyway I was shattered when I saw an educated but poor family refused to send their daughter to school. When I asked why didn't you send your daughter to school the mother replied "Our girl works in the farm with us. We cannot earn enough without her help." I tried to explain them what she can do if we provide education to her. But it isn't simple. There is another educated middle class family who doesn't send their girl to school. When I asked why didn't you send your girl to school, her father replied "I have a daughter and a son. With my income I will not be able to educate both my children and make sure my daughter get a perfect marriage ceremony." So man You are saying your daughter's grand marriage ceremony is more worthy than her education!! It has been a myth in India that if you couldn't afford for both education and marriage, choose marriage for a girl and education for a boy. Anyway I thought a little financial help from government will solve these problems. I was happy when Indian parliament passed an act called Right to education and said School is compulsory and for the all the children of age 6-14 and it is provided at free of cost in government schools.

I finally thought all girls will now get education without any circumstances. But no. It isn't that simple.I have seen people who still doesn't send their girl to school. When I asked why didn't you send your daughter to school, a woman replied "Those government schools doesn't have proper washroom and sanitation facility how will she able to manage on periods?" Another women replied "It's better for girls to stay at home. Because the world isn't safe for them to go out alone. We doesn't have school near by. We can neither drop her off at school nor send her alone to school which is 5km away from here." Even few families who are financially stable and well educated doesn't send their daughter to school in the worry of abuses and harassments at school which are quite often these days.

Now I'm in a deep thinking. What can I do to make sure all girls get educated?? Analyzing all these situations I finally realized that Girl herself is never the problem. The society around her is which cause the problem. Irrespective of differences like rural/urban livelihood, rich/poor financial status, Educated/uneducated family, many girls are resisted to go to school. Let us all raise our voices and fight for their education. We the youth of India should now make sure that every girl in India should be a literate.
Let us all unite and bring them out of those 4-dimensional cages in which they are bound in.
EDUCATE A GIRL TO EDUCATE THE WORLD

OKAY, I HAVE TO SAY THIS. I SEE SOME MEN POSTING PICTURES OF THEMSELVES IN BLACK AND WHITE SAYING #CHALLENGEACCEPTED.

NORMALLY, I WOULD CHALK IT DOWN TO THEIR NOT KNOWING ABOUT #WOMENSUPPORTWOMEN OR JUST PLAIN IGNORANCE. THAT'S FINE. THEY CAN ALWAYS EDUCATE THEMSELVES.

BUT WHAT'S NOT OKAY IS THE FACT THAT THEY POST THEIR PICTURES AS A JOKE BELITTLING THE WOMEN WHO ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE.

THEY KNOW FULLY WELL THAT THE WOMEN WHO PUT UP PICTURES DO IT TO SAY THAT THEY ARE THERE FOR EACH OTHER, THAT THERE'S A STRONG NETWORK OF SUPPORT AND THAT THEY WILL STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH THEIR FEMALE FRIENDS AND CALL OUT MISOGYNY AND SEXISM.

HOW IS THIS FUNNY? SOME POSTS HAVE MEN WEARING EYE MAKE UP AND PUTTING ON WIGS AND POSING AS WOMEN JUST TO TAKE A DIG AT #WOMENSUPPORTINGWOMEN. NOT COOL AT ALL. IT'S NOT FUNNY. IT'S NOT GOING TO FLY.

    Prostitute

    They call her 'Prostitute'
    for being sexually engaged
    in payment. But what
    should we call that man
    who is paying for her?

    INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Wishing girls/ladies/women on INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY is good... But all of us should have that courage & conviction to stand up and speak for a woman when she is facing domestic violence, social injustice, public harassment, abuse and loss of self respect and dignity. We should not be ignorant of the fact that they too are human beings above all. They deserve the same treatment meted out to our fellow men. I see people celebrating Women's day on social media but that doesn't bring any change. Only one day we are respecting women and on other days we are using them according to our needs- ordering our mothers to prepare our fav foods and do our works, demanding gifts from female partners, not caring about women in public...back to pavilion it seems. Why should it be like this when they possess one of the greatest powers of mankind-giving birth to a child? I know it is not possible to bring about a radical, random change all of a sudden.. But we should mould our thoughts in such a way regarding women so that no injustice of any sorts occurs to any woman in the days to come...
