I sat staring at that blank sheet of paper,
As it lies there, quietly fluttering in front of me.
Drenched by the tears in my eyes,
Wrinkled with the rage in me,
Scarred with my mistakes and regrets,
But still strong and unharmed.
My parents saw a rainbow in it,
My friends saw only a part of it,
People close to me saw it as a piece of garbage,
While the strangers never cared to take a glance.
Everyone saw something
But it was only I,
who saw Nothing.
The paper had a thousand words written on it,
Words that nobody read, But Me.
These writings are eager to come out,
But the mere cowardice of the paper,
And the fear of losing that it holds,
Doesn’t allow it.
It subjugates to the calculated arguments of its controlling master,
And continues to suffocate alone.
It suffocates as I crumble it with my own hands,
It suffocates as I fill love inside it,
It suffocates as I deprive it of joy,
It suffocates as I prevent it from speaking out.
Still after all this,
It stands in silence,
Knowing there are people who wouldn’t let him die at my hands,
People who will stop me, and make me see,
The paper’s true beauty.

ഒരു കാട് തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്റെ ചിന്തകളിൽ നിന്ന്. സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് നിറമുണ്ടായത് അവിടെ നിന്നാണ്. പല നിറങ്ങളിൽ രൂപങ്ങളിൽ അവ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമായത് ചിന്തകളുടെ ബലമുള്ള അടിവേരുകളിൽനിന്നാണ്.
