बट गए
मन्दिरों में मस्जिदों में मुल्क वाले बट गए,
दिल मुहब्बत से भरे थे अब सभी के हट गए...
हर तरफ नफरत का देखो गर्म अब बाज़ार है,
अम्न के बादल थे ऊपर वो सभी ही छठ गए...
जो हुए थे साथ बचपन में वही जिगरी नहीं,
दोस्ती के सब शजर इस मुल्क में अब कट गए..
बीज कैसा बो दिया तुम ने सियासत का यहां,
राम से रिश्ते जो अफ़ज़ल के थे सारे छुट गए...
धरती रोती है बहुत वो हाल इस का हो गया,
माँ तेरे बच्चों के आंगन देख कैसे बट गए...

फूलों से अब वो रस का चुराना नहीं रहा…
सब लुट गया है घर में फ़क़त याद ही रही,
उसकी हंसी का घर में ख़ज़ाना नहीं रहा…
जिस से मिले जहां को मोहब्बत का दर्स अब,
तारीख़ का वो कोई फसाना नहीं रहा...
फूलों की अंजुमन हो या काँटों की बज़्म हो,
अब तो खुशी या ग़म का मनाना नहीं रहा...
सारे जहां से मुझको मिला फ़ायदा ही क्या,
जब दफ़्न का ही मेरा ठिकाना नहीं रहा..
गर ग़मज़दा हो दिल तो सुनाऊँ के शाद हो,
ऐसा कोई हसीन तराना नहीं रहा...
हर ज़ख्म फ़िर से ताज़ा हुआ जा रहा है अब,
ताज़ा के इस क़दर की पुराना नहीं रहा...
वायज़ ये अपना दर्स ए सुख़न रहने दीजिये,
दुनिया में अब अदब का ज़माना नहीं रहा...
जो बे अदब है अब वो यहाँ दिल पसंद है,
अब दौर ए हाल वैसा पुराना नहीं रहा..
हुस्न ए ग़ज़ल रहा न रहा दौर ए सुख़नवर,
बज़्म ए सुख़न में "इश्क" सा दाना नहीं रहा...

Everybody wants to take their time.
Take their time to do things the way they want to, without taking into account how their fellow man feels.
Everybody wants to make decisions because they feel it is best for them.
Everybody stands on their ground based on the principles they have, nothing can make them move.
However, the moment you decide to do for yourself what everyone is doing for themselves,
You become a bad egg, smelly and rotten.
You become the one person who is inconsiderate and can't tolerate others.
You become the one person who's hardhearted.
It is always alright if it is them, it is never okay if it is you.

I would like to be left alone
Alone to listen to the beats of my own heart
For I no longer can tell the rhythm of its beat
I've been away from me for so long

Alone here sitting and pondering
Wondering what the morrow will be bringing

For all the emotions I've invested has yielded no return

हुआ नाज़ा कमाल-ए-इश्क़ भी ज़ात-ए-मुकम्मल पर,
तू हाल-ए-इश्क़ में ग़र्क़ां तुझे तन्हाईयों से क्या।
मकीं जो क़ल्ब में उल्फ़त अदा-ए-यार हो जाए,
जिसे दिल देख लेता है उसे बीनाईयों से क्या।

Yesterday
Remember the good old days,
the days we were happy, the days we were sad
the days were we lost track of time...
Time seem still for me and
I am still stuck in the moment.
The moment which we cherished together
were boundries doesn't seem to an end.
It was just a beginning .
I was happy,you were happy
and we laughed it out like
it was the end of our days.
Now, I am feeling down when ever
the thought enter
ma mind,
as how much I tried to preserve them they still flew away from my hand.
All I could wish it wasforever.
Forever and ever and ever...

चलो
आओ फिर रात को हसीं कर लें,
गुफ़्तगू फिर कभी कभी कर लें।
तुम मुझे फ़ोन फिर से कर लेना,
बात डरकर दबी दबी कर लें।
फिर चलो थोड़ा सा झगड़ते हैं,
एक दूजे की अनसुनी कर लें।
तुम कहो डर के माँ है सुन लेगी,
हम तिरी बात पर यक़ीं कर ले।
चल कहीं दूर चल कहीं बैठें ,
ग़म को सारे ही अब ख़ुशी कर लें।
दिल तुम्हारे बग़ैर न लगता ,
दिल की हर आरज़ू हसीं कर।
तुम जिधर जाओ अपनी छत पर तो,
हम पतंग अपनी फिर वहीं कर लें।
रात दीपक बुझाये कितने हैं,
तुम जो आओ तो रौशनी कर लें।
रात ख़ामोश है मकां वीरां,
तिरी हिजरत में ख़ुदकुशी कर लें?

Super Human
I'm holding back tears as I write
Nobody believes that I ever shed tears
That sometimes I'm overwhelmed and I give way to tears
I'm no super human
I'm holding back the pain in my thoughts
It hurts deep inside, yet nobody believes I'm in fear
I struggle and pray that I continue, this pain to bear
I'm no super human
I'm holding back tears as I write
But it rolls down my cheeks and then disappears
And then I'm blank like it was never there
I'm no super human
I'm holding back the pain in my thoughts
Well, I'm afraid I'm still in pain and in fear
But I hope and pray that it will soon disappear

Everything I consider love was falsified.
I am dejected from always being his second priority.
Someone said ending love doesn't mean ending life.
As if my is continuing.
My love most have ended a long time ago....
But i disregarded it and for dragging it until now.
I maybe rewarded with sadness from breakup but it's ok...
As long as i have self respect to myself.
