beneath flesh and bone
the tears you weep
alone by yourself
you struggle to sleep
in a crowd full of people
a brush on the shoulder
you are afraid
to yourself you keep
trauma, silent, unnoticeable
but there trauma.
how strong you are to carry on.

It's not.
Don't let others belittle your emotions and
your healing journey.
Everyone has different experiences and gone through different circumstances.
We all have a different tolerance level for pain.
I might hold it in and clench my jaw and act as if nothing is wrong
and you might burst into tears the very second you are alone.
You are after all human
just don't forget that today you might feel a world's worth of pain
but tomorrow you could feel a world's worth of joy and happiness.
Do not think just because today is a bad day that tomorrow will be too.
you have the power, right in your hands to take control over your happiness.

Came to my house one evening

Read MoreLip gloss, lip colour and lip pencil drew her mouth. Toner to her face gave a good touching. Foundation didn't match her tone and she blended it softly down her cheeks. Concealer to her under eye hid her dark circles. She gained confidence in the middle session. Realised face wash got over and she had to buy it for the next month. Coming back to eyebrows, soap served nice. Eye pen gave a good finishing. She tried for a cat eye, but messed up. So she made a normal eye liner with kajal and vaseline to her eyelashes. Contact lens laid there in the dressing table. Blue, green or grey? she was confused and ended up with green to match her outfit. Took her phone to have a mirror selfie and confessed herself she was nice. It was all for her boyfriend's birthday party.
Three full hours of party, she came home with him. Wished him a happy birthday with her gift wrapped in a blue paper. He opened it to the core and found a watch that he was claiming for. He thanked her as she went down to change her dress. Washed off all the makeup and back to their room for sleep. Her boyfriend turned his attention to her as he watches the football match and said, "You're looking great after a face wash, you're my best gift ever" She realised something in her mind and went to sleep.
