Poverty emanating from the December holes of my skirt hypothermic skin embraced by the cold floors of winter Tongue tasting the flakes of snow with the silver of sorrows I am grateful for the deprivation sparking the ignition of passion in my veins
Nuts of despair inside the bitter porridge of failure Served in the porringer of sleepless struggles Flaks forbidding me from the cafuné of comfort I am grateful for the fiascos, polishing the pillars of success
Retracted roof of father , extended lappet of mother Abandoned sauntering surname of father Seeds of soul watered by the sweat of mother I am grateful for the half mizzling clouds of my sky , for quenching my thirst for warmth.
Broken blue promises , remnants of wrecked reveries Love is suffocating inside the layers of lies Truth is tearing the glittery wrappers of betrayal I am grateful for the tears cleansing my eyes staining my cheeks with the hues of self-love.
It began with crush Topped up with little obsession. Love starts somewhat like that It was clear to me without any delusion. As i grew in age I realised my feelings reached a stage Where i was sure that i had feelings for her pure. But there was no strategy To tell her And it was a tragedy That she regarded me as friend and nothing more. One day i saw her with a guy. They kissed under the cloudy sky. It was enough for me to know I was the fire and she was the snow.(no match) For the sake of my true love I held my emotions And just let her go.
She- why always me mom..? Mom- do you believe in God? She- yes I do!! Mom- Then don't ask why She: Mom- Not everything in this world has its reason LIKE TIGER EATS WOLVES WOLVES EAT RABBITS RABBITS EAT GRASS
"THERE IS NO REASON FOR IT" She: Mom- One day you'll realize that there's always another perspective in life. Have faith and believe in yourself.
--Today, write a poem about a time when you felt scared.--
It can be told from the perspective of a frightened child, or, perhaps, an adult afraid for his/her life. Sometimes fear is also connected to certain expectations and uncertainties about the future. Explore this theme in your poem.
