  A MIND WANDERER
  
  As usual Mr.Rakesh was taking the creative fun class on Wednesday afternoon for the class 8 students. He was the most loved teacher in the school. The reason for that was his subject being a fun and his sense of humour. He was away from the talks on finding the values of x and y or on deriving a formula of speed. All the students were eagerly waiting for the fun task to commence. The student who answers Mr.Rakesh's question correctly, used to get a special gift from him. Giving gifts to students on performing well is always a preferably way to encourage students. This was the motto of Mr.Rakesh.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : hello students! A very good afternoon to you all.
  
  All the students : hello sir! A very good afternoon to you too.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : today I am up with a very fun task. I will ask a simple question. The student who answers it correctly will get a special gift from me. And this gift will be the best of all.
  
  All the students : We can't wait anymore sir. Please do it quick.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : So here goes the question. What travels the fastest?
  
  There was pin drop silence in the classroom. Everybody were thinking for the correct answer. Suddenly a hand raised from the first bench.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : yes Kumar go ahead.
  
  Kumar : sir it's obviously cheetah (grinning) (he was the one who is always first in raising hand. Yet failed everytime).
  
  Mr.Rakesh : No my dear friend. Any other guesses.
  
  Anand : sir it's aeroplane. We can travel miles with in hours. ( He was the most enthusiastic student of the class. Raising both the hands at once).
  
  Mr.Rakesh : sorry again, this is incorrect too. Any other guesses.
  
  Vishnu : sir, it's the tears falling from a girl's eye when being called fat. ( He was well known for his silly answers in the class)
  
  All the students were laughing out loud. Some of the girls in the class had angry faces though.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : (laughing) great sense of humour. But I can't take your answer into consideration.
  
  Hema : sir light travels the fastest. The speed of light is 299 792 458 m/s. (She was a bright student and very good at remembering numbers)
  
  All the students raised their eyebrows thinking that it's the correct answer.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : a very good answer Hema. Keep it up. But even this is incorrect. Yes light travels very fast. There is something which is faster than light. Shreya can you please tell me the answer.
  
  Shreya : sir, I was eagerly waiting for my turn because only I know the correct answer. Tachyons are hypothetical particles which travel faster than light. According to Einstein's special theory of relativity. (With a triumphant smile). ( She was the best among all the students. Had a little ego and overconfidence).
  
  Mr.Rakesh : no my dear Shreya. The answer is incorrect. There is something which travels faster than tachyons. I appreciate your answer. Great knowledge. Keep it up.
  
  There was a guy named jacob who was a well known mind wanderer. He never showed interest in studies. All the students were in confusion of what could be the answer. The only person smiling in the classroom was Jacob.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : hey Jacob. My dear lazy student. Why are you smiling? Do you know the answer for my question.
  
  Jacob : sir I know the answer to your question. But you might not like it.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : no my dear Jacob, please go ahead with your answer. Let's see what you have got.
  
  All the students started laughing loudly. Someone shouted, now the dumbest student of the class will answer the question. Loud laughs were heard again.
  
  Jacob : (got up in an angry mood). Sir the thing which travels the fastest are the thoughts of mind. Before you came into the classroom, I was wandering with my girlfriend on the London bridge with hands entwined.
  
  Laughs of the students became louder. Even Mr.Rakesh was laughing holding his stomach.
  
  Jacob : sir, I am angry with you. Your arrival in the classroom disturbed our first date on the London bridge. Although we were wandering in the jungles of Amazon today morning. But, the London bridge is new for us.
  
  Mr.Rakesh : (controlling his laughter) this is the correct answer. I knew only you had the answer for my question. Tomorrow I will give you a special gift. But please stop wandering here and there atleast when the teacher is in the classroom (laughing loudly).
  
  All the students were amazed to hear the answer.
  
  Jacob : (with a triumphant smile, as if mocking his classmates). Hehe, you all tease me daily. I never fought back. See the grace of almighty, today I am smiling and you all are pale faced...

  हमने भी कह दिया फिर, सुनो हमारी बात तुम ज़रा गौर से
  कि,कदमो को बहकते देर नही लगती अक्सर ज़िन्दगी की शाम में
  मगर संभालने मैं सारी उम्र लग जाती है किसी भी मुकाम में
  फिर......., होंना क्या था
  हुआ यूं .......
  चल दिये वो उनकी मंज़िल की तरफ और हम हमारे रास्ते
  खुदा करे उनकी दास्तान लिखी हो किसी शायरा के नाम पे।
