Love One Another!
Love one another, but make not a bond of love.

Love one another, but make not a bond of love.
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other’s cup, but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread, but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone.
Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.
Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping.
For only the hand of life can contain your hearts.
And stand together, yet not too near together.
For the pillars of the temple stand apart.
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.
Love One Another!
Love one another, but make not a bond of love.

Dear 10 Year Old Me
Stay away from the boys
Dont give them your heart
Until they are old enough
And mature enough to handle it.
And dont chase them either,
Ever.
Let them chase you.
Don't let any boy,
Actually dont let anyone in general
Including yourself
Make you feel like you don't matter.
Or that you're not good enough.
You are everything to so many people.
And this world wouldn't be the same without you here.
Find something you're good at and keep doing it.
Write.
Write when you're happy.
Write when you're sad.
Write down your dream last night.
Write about love.
Write about heartbreak.
It's not always easy to talk about what you're going through and how you're feeling,
But writing it down even just for you to hear it will help you.
It will give you space to breathe again.
Take a deep breath.
Just breathe.
Nothing bad lasts forever.
Good and bad trade places in life constantly and this will never change.
Keep breathing anyways.
Keep going anyways.
Be kind to everyone even when it's hard to.
Even when It hurts to.
Remember that everyone you meet has a story.
And remember how you wished that the jerk who made fun of you for ,knew what you were going through,
So maybe he would stop.
Remember that, when you think it's a good idea to do it back to him or anyone else.
Listen to your mom.
She's been through more than she's ever told you.
And she's ALWAYS right,
I learned this the hard way.
Theres no such thing as having too many friends.
But don't give pieces of yourself to people who don't understand how to complete you the same way you do them.
People are going to change.
And people are going to leave.
And there will be days you wish you could change yourself.
And days scissors don't remind you of cutting paper,
But rather, your own skin.
Don't test this.
Please.
Your body is a temple not a warzone.
There will be nights you think you won't survive.
And days you wish would never end.
You're going to hurt.
You're going to cry.
You're going to laugh.
You're going to grow.
Nothing and no one will ever be perfect.
But there is still so much good out there to see.
And feel.
And know.
If there's one thing I can teach you let it be this....
It actually doesnt matter what grade you get on your math test.
Or that you skipped class yesterday.
It matters that you are happy.
That your mind is healthy.
It matters that you are right here.
Right now.
You will find success where it was meant to happen.
We all learn differently.
No matter what you're going through
And how impossible it may feel for things to get better.
I promise they always do. ALWAYS.
I know this because I've hit (my)rock bottom I'm still here to tell you this.
If you wake up in the morning and you are still breathing,
You are doing something right.
Keep doing it.
I'm proud of you.
You are going to make it.
You are going to to be okay.
You will find your happiness.
And your crowd.
And your success.
Keep believing in you, keep fighting, the rest really does fall into place.
Just make sure you keep on waking up, and getting yourself out of that bed.❤
This world needs you.

Empty
Yet full
Broken
Yet able to love with the pieces
Blank
Yet colorful
Motionless
Yet I'm going a hundred miles an hour
Falling
But I haven't hit the ground yet
Lonely
But crowded
Loved
But cold
They listen to all my stories
But when I'm serious
They turn their back
They care
But not really
Almost but no
Silent tears
Angry words
Fake smiles
Inside I'm dying
I need to be caught
But no one is there to catch me
Help
No one comes
Why when you need people the most
They leave you
Why when you are the loneliest
The crowd disappears
Why when you need love
There is none left
Why when the smile slips away and the tears come
They turn their back
Why can't it just be simple for once
I need someone to catch me
I need someone to brush away my tears
I need someone to make my smile real
I need someone to be there even when I push them away
I need someone who will stick by my side no matter how much I want to give up
I just need someone
That someone is supposed to be you
You love me right
Well...Prove it
Empty

The odds 8
After coming back from the mines and getting talk to Lee it became clear what did he saw and what happened in the mines on the first day. Police has been in and out for questioning about the body or anything wierd that they saw when they were at the mines.
They have to say that whoever the person is, she was from town but somehow there has not been any new missing cases. And due to the condition of the body it was hard to say who was it. Police has also said that the body was of a girl, age could be 18. The only thing to trace the identity of the girl was that she had silver fillings in one of her teeth. So police also asked to the dental hospitals about the people who had that treatment like that in the past days. But still no clue.
Lara and her friends were all trying the best to tell them everything they could remember.
Lara also told them that one of her friends also had tooth fillings and that she got it from a clinic and not the hospital. As it costs less than the hospital.
Lara told them that it was Joe who had fillings in her tooth and she would be able to tell about the clinic more clearly.
Police called in Joe and asked her if she had any fillings in her teeth but she refused to know about any clinic and also said her teeth are all good and she doesn't need any type of fillings. So why would she have it?? Police did not asked any further questions.
On their way back to home Lara asked to Joe, If her tooth was alright and if she told the police about the dental clinic. Joe hesitated at first but then she said yes she told them about the clinic.

Azadi is a struggle
#Azadi is a struggle, a sentiment, a recognition of the political will of the people belonging to Kashmir. Azadi is also about how we imagine this community; what we are and who we are and who and what is included in this imagination.
Armed struggle for Azadi reached its peak in 90s, it not only resulted in a direct confrontation with the Indian state but it also had very unfortunate consequences for us. It resulted in fratricide among Kashmiris, among the Muslim and Hindus and then among various armed groups. Fratricide in any conflict region is dangerous, it can dull-out any strong resistance.
In the fight against Indian state, ideally, Kashmiri Muslims and Hindus should stick together. But 47 did play a huge part in dividing the communities here. Pandits naturely were recipient of large priviliges from Indian Hindu majority state. Also, for the fundamental reason they are on the top pyramid of the caste and power structure of Indian society. Sikhs on the other hand, didn't have any concessions to receive from Indian state, so they didn't took part in the fratricide but became unfortunate victims of the war here. Largely, their association remained with Kashmiri Muslim sentiment because of the guarantee of their protection remained with the local population here not the state. Quite interesting ways how identities have unfolded here.
The period between 90-96, was the most brutal and inhumane and dark period in the history of Kashmir. The amount of loot, plunder, rapes, murders that happened here those committed by Indian military forces and their sponsored militia is just too unprecedented.
In no way, it can be compared with the period post-august 5th. Post-august 5th, the nature of violence in Kashmir has been totally different. The forms of resistance both armed and unarmed have also changed since 1990s.
What I have witnessed is there has been much maturity in the armed resistance than the peaceful resistance here. The evolution in the armed resistance in Kashmir has been gradual but it has been splendid, and more principle oriented and much more moral while as peaceful resistance here has been punctured by the Indian state very easily. It's quite ironic but that's how it is.
The question is has all the channels for peaceful resistance completely been strangled by Indian state or is our peaceful resistance bereft of a moral stand now. My observation has been that the peaceful resistance here has been filled with a deep vaccum because we have not been able to recognise how to fight our enemy. They have been bargaining on this moral vaccum in the peaceful resistance which has resulted in such a chaos post-August 5th that there seems no way out of this misery but to pick up a gun and fight Indian state.
Academicians, thinkers, lawyers, activists, employees, journalists, doctors, teachers, maulvis everyone here has surrendered their will somehow, I don't understand why, to the will of the state. They are afraid that their butter-and-bread will be taken away, their family will suffer. They are ready to live life in indignation and humiliation rather to resist the state.
There is confusion amongst the population here how to continue the struggle here, no one wants to be disobedient to the state here. The fear has taken too deep roots. The fear of NIA was so much here in the last year it felt like as if they were the Mulkulmout (the angel of death).
Armed resistance is not a viable long term solution considering the conditions people face here. It is unsustainable and fills the coffers of Indian military's political economy here. Too many brilliant minds lost in last many years who had the potential to lead the people against the worst tide of Indian state's oppressive structures.
It's not just the military-bureacratic-militray structure that people are up against here. Now the Muslim hatred has openly creeped into these structures also, judiciary here has become another instrument of the military structure. And the cultural-fascist elements of Hindutva are designing the policies here.
But an ironic fact is after the changes in the domicile laws here, if any community should be up against these changes it should be Kashmiri Pandit community. If Kashmiris don't own the land here, the traditions that make Kashmir would be lost forever without them. How do they want to reconcile with the change? Kashmiri identity is nothing without a claim to their roots that is the land. The Kashmiri Pandit identity will be dissolved forever if these changes become permanent here. Indian state with its huge military infrastructure couldn't give them so-called protection during the early years of 90s how do they expect that this cultural annexation of Kashmir by Indians will not completely exclude them from the power structures of Indian polity but also from their cultural roots. If at this juncture they don't stand shoulder-in-shoulder with their Kashmiri Muslims in their fight against this annexation. They will completely lose their claim to Kashmiri identity. Also, it's not 1947, that Indian state can butcher a huge population of Kashmiri Muslims without any strong international consequences. The times have changed and India is still not that powerful-a-country to hide its crimes nor does it is like Israel as it does aspire to under Hindutva now that it can evict Muslims
from this country and make them stateless.
It's important for Kashmiris at this point to recognize the importance of peaceful resistance that will only remould when they assimilate the collective that forms the larger Kashmiri identity geographically, linguistically and culturally across the borders. The time has come to launch a strong peaceful resistance against this brutal military state. They can't fight a peaceful resistance here. Like the armed resistance which has acquired its moral zenith here by now, the time has come to make the roots of peaceful resistance and struggle very strong here.
