Promises Along with modernisation and globalisation, we see changes not just in the lifestyle of an individual, but also in the values that once were of utmost importance and strongly upheld by the people. Over time, the value of promises made is also seen to be fading away.
We often make statements such as, 'Blessed to have you in life. I am so lucky to have met you' to our dear ones. We value their presence in our life so much that we often forget our worth. We try and do everything to please them and make them happy. How often do we say or even think that lucky are those people who have me in their life? The point here is not to be selfish or self-conscious. What it implies is we should not let down our value in front of others to please them at any cost.
We are all equal and unique with different features and experiences, worth the love and care.
I will be waiting... Waiting for my colours to sing sing a song that speaks the language of love. Waiting for my colours to paint, Paint on the white canvass of life a paradise i want to freely walk in. Waiting for my colours to read yours To Know you and see you through. Waiting for my colours to write Write a story narrating who i am Waiting for my colours to be solely mine. Waiting to wear my true colours and letting my brightest colour shine. Waiting for my colours to overpower, Overpower the darkness I carry within. Waiting... Waiting for my colours all this while... To discover and bring me back my stolen smile...
