Writing life wasn't
an easy task therefore I
began penning death.

I am unlikely
to deviate from my path
until my last breath.

The ugly, horrid
and hideous forms of death
inspire me to write.

Some of my poems
are so pitchy that they fill
most readers with fright.

There are no awards
and accolades for those who
write too much dark stuff.

But some readers find
my writing "cathartic" and
that's more than enough.

To be remembered
as "The Poet of Death" is
my sole ambition.

And yes, In my next
life, I would like to be born
as a mortician.
