~ words of a writer~

how can I become so infatuated
with words leaving me intoxicated
our paths have never even crossed
speaking with a poetic passion I get lost
I allow his words to caress me like a sin
letting them seduce me while pulling in
until I'm inside each song like verse
his words very reality, being so diverse
they hold much meaning being so heartfelt
opening in me rapture I've never before felt
feeling in words the love he longingly conveys
leaving me speechless what can i say
when I'm released from Its strong pull
did the words hold me mind, body, and soul
I wonder as I grasp the book of words tighter
was it the words themself or the "Writer"
