    I lay on the immaculate green grass,
    My spine resting peacefully;
    I see the sun shying away,
    And burying itself cautiously.
    The hues of the sky reflect on my face;
    From misty pumpkin shade,
    To red luscious raspberry,
    From tinged cotton candy pink,
    To naked light purple.
    I lay there quietly with brimming thoughts,
    And I want to stop them for a while;
    I want to sever all the extensions,
    That is keeping me tethered to this rumination.
    As the colours of the sky transform slowly,
    I start feeling so insignificant,
    And small in the face of this vast universe,
    For a minute, the nature engulfs me
    And all my thoughts get washed away.
    All the pain and misery gets blown by the wind.
    And I breathe in all the tranquility,
    The hope and love that's lingering in the air;
    Slowly closing my eyes and wishing,
    For this moment to last forever and ever.
