CAKE

Fluffy white cake
Whipped cream frosting
I loved the cake you made
But it filled me with empty calories
You put in your effort
I put in mine
We did it together
It was like wine
Each day it got better
Better with time
Until one day you left the kitchen
Like you left from my life
My heart felt frozen
More painful than frostbite
And so i still kept your mittens
So well knitted
And the cake we made together
I look upon it
Remembering how each day it got better
It looks too good to eat, I thought
As memories of us dances in my mind.
