    Fairy pools

    There's a place
    Where the crisp air
    Invites deep the breath
    Where fields richly green
    Holds victory where
    Mists gather like ghosts
    Marching across the glens
As once souls in bodies filled
    Swept these fields
    For the merit of life
    Embraced the land, the skies
As Gods that filled their ways
    To prosper or decay
To the will of it all.
    I come here
    When the moon full rises
    And these pools that fill
    In waters fresh
    Draws deep the ancestral roots
    The ancient tales
    Where fairies draw and retain
    The powers that here engulf
    The promises of healing
    The dreams believing
    In these sacred pools
Born of moon and fairy dust
Here in the isle of Sky.
