An Aged Home
Just before I die,
I would like to breathe once more.
There's a silent creek in the ceiling above
Dust parting with old left worn out dreams.
Just before I die,
I would like spiderwebs to lose its ends.
There's a wind blowing through the glass
Like those wishpering of sounds in a hollow heart.
Just before I die,
I would like those dead leaves to fall into ruins.
There's a heap lying un-visited on the floor
and filling up the cold memories of its visitors.
Just before I die,
I would like the neglected porch to be colored
once more.
There's a deserted door that lies with the crawling
baby to a growing youth love memories.
Just before I die,
I would like to breathe once more.
There's a love, lost in the echoes of the dull dusted walls
There are smiles, still hoping to find their way back to home.
Just before I die,
I would like to breathe once more.
There's a renovation needed for aged me,
a blooming hope can grow a family again,
a white washed me can live again.
Just before I die,
I would like to breathe once more.
