Requite

My old friends
know my old clothes,
the new ones see them as new.

While a gentleman
lives his 30 years combless
although not hairless.

He need not gift me a dress
and i shouldn't make him redress.

All we require is maintenance
which costs much more than
a jeans, a jacket and a hairbrush.

This time,
I keep the fresh wardrobe
packed in a breathing polyethylene
and send him a package
with a brush and a message
"Keep it safe in your pocket!"
