I go back, to those talks, to those places, to those moments, all in my head. I run miles a second, gasping and panting, trying to hold something, anything. I think about things I want to say, tell you how much you mean to me, all those hugs we didn't have. I die a million and one deaths, overthinking things, fighting the fear. I tell my rapidly beating heart that it will be alright, all in vain, it neither listens nor calms down. It tears me apart, this stupid fear, the uncertainty, into thousand twenty pieces.
