Those who leave for foreign lands, embrace other tongues, dress in alien garb and forget this country them I salute. And those who don't forget, and don't change even after being beaten up for centuries Such hypocrites I ask What will you say if someone asked you What is untouchability? Is it eternal like god? What's an untouchable like? What does he look like? Does he look like the very image of leprosy? Or like the Prophet's enemy? Does he look like a heretic, a sinner or an atheist? Tell me What will your answer be? Will you reply without hesitation. 'Untouchable that's me?' That's why I say You who have made the mistake of being born in this country must now rectify it.
Every one of your birthdays is a gift to me, who have had the pleasure of having you in my life for another year. Every one of your birthdays brings joyful memories of your bright smile and your love of life. Every one of your birthdays reminds me of your sensitivity and service to others, and other delights too numerous to name that I am gifted with just by knowing you. Happy Birthday to one in a million. May you, and me enjoy many more.
God wept a silent rain as Anirudh screamed and cried, but nothing was in his hands as it was too late. He sobbed as he sank to his knees not caring for the dump mud that dirtied his dress. All the wonderful memories that they had spent together flashed before his eyes as the death bed erupted into flames.
As the plumes of black smoke filled the surrounding and the searing heat slowly made it difficult to breathe but he remained sitting their, his nails almost digging into histhighs, thinking of the eleventh hour of his BESTFRIEND'S life spent with him.
It was night time around 8:30 PM of the previous day. no one was in the room except except Anirudh and his BESTFRIEND. Soon the silence in the room was broken by soft crumble devoice.
I may go now, my brother's on his way to pick me.
Simply tears came slowing down from his eyes.
No no, please no tears, it has been almost 11 years since I and my brother are separated by the destiny now it's time for us to meet again. I have finished all my responsibilities now. You have to take care of yourself now you have a kind of penumbra of mine, you will and have to this.
Many times for the sake of you I took some harsh decisions too which were not acceptable by you but for the well-being I take that, for such you have to be strong enough from inside like I had been.
Though you are not much grown up then also I have shared every aspect of my life with you.
After me find a new PILLAR for your soul in whom you'll find me. Don't say a word now, come on move now I have to go to washroom.
Then the silence hung in the air like a bereaved soul is Anirudh and Rashi embraced each other One Last Time.
After sometime, the door of the washroom was knocked but no reply ever came. It was open somehow and there was her body lying on the floor with an expression of peace and completeness, shining like she has been just born and going to start a new life, her face has never looked so dainty bewitching divine ever before. Death took her in its garage towards the life of eternity. The sublime soul left the world making Anirudh the heir of all the responsibilities.
It isn't the loss of Rashi, it is just her body, which is lost, her ethereally eternal soul is forever with Anirudh. The pain might be temporary , but the everlasting memories they have , will stay along with him. It is mere a detour of her body her soul itself is now a PILLAR for Anirudh standing with him in every up and down.
