On a lazy summer beachy afternoon
I was treading way back home
In a coffee shop near the shore
I saw you from a distance
Sipping coffee alone with a phone
I started walking towards you
My heart's desires come to play
I covered your eyes with my hands
And gigglingly did a peek-a-boo
You caught my hands in yours
Kissed them with love and care
When I swayed to embrace you
I could not find you and realised
I was just thinking about you
Suddenly I felt lonely and badly missed you
Hearing the sea songs from the far away deck
I started marching again to the waterside
Adjusting the headgear and big shades
To cover my moist longing eyes ️️

उनकी नज़रों का तीर लगा सीधा मेरे दिल पर कल,
हाल पूछते हैं वो मेरा उन्हीं क़ातिलाना नज़रों से आज,
संभाला था थोड़ा इस दिल को मैंने बेक़ाबू हो चला फ़िर ये अब !

विवाह का अर्थ क्या है? क्या सच में ये कोई रिश्ता है या सिर्फ़ दो लोगों को ज़िन्दगी भर के लिए एक दूसरे को झेलने का सफ़र। एक ऐसा सफ़र जिस में किस पुढाव पे क्या करना है वो पति बताता है और पत्नी वैसे ही करती है। ये एक स्त्री की ज़िंदगी की बागडोर किसी और के हाथ पकड़ाने के सिवा कुछ नही।
आख़िर ऐसा क्यों? क्या ऐसा सिर्फ़ इसलिए क्योंकि वो आर्थिक रूप से किसी पे आश्रित है। विवाह भी फिर तो लेन देन ही है जहां स्त्री को ज़िन्दगी भर के लिए खरीद लिया जाता है वित्तीय सुरक्षा के नाम पे।
उसके अपने सपने कुछ मायने नही रखते। उसके सपने उसके अपने माँ बाप ही तोड़ते हैं और सिर्फ़ इसलिए क्योंकि वो उसे ज़िन्दगी भर के लिए आर्थिक सुरक्षा नही देना चाहते क्योंकि उनको लगता है कि उनके जाने के बाद उसका क्या होगा। वो ये नही सोचते कि उसको पढ़ा लिखा कर आत्मनिर्भर बना कर वो अपनी और बेटी की ज़िंदगी को सुरक्षित कर सकते हैं।
जब वो आत्मनिर्भर बनेगी तो ही खुश रहेगी। स्त्री की ज़िंदगी के भी कुछ मायने हैं। विवाह के बाद बच्चों को जन्म देकर सिर्फ़ घर संभालना ही उसका काम नही। उसके अंदर भी कुछ तमनाएँ होती हैं जो उसको खुशी देती है और उसको जीने की इच्छा प्रदान करती है।
वो क्या पहनेगी, क्या खायेगी, उसका दिन कैसे बीतेगा वो ख़ुद तय करना जानती है। लेकिन उसको अक्सर ऐसा माहौल और मौक़ा नही मिलता। वो कब उठेगी, सोएगी, खायेगी, पीयेगी सब दूसरों पे निर्भर करता है। उसका दिन उसके अपने लिए नहीं बल्कि घर परिवार के लिये और दूसरों के हिसाब से तय होता है।
क्या स्त्री के अंदर दिल और जज़्बात नही होते? काबलियत नही होती अपने सपने पूरे करने की। क्या उसका जन्म परिवार वालों के सपनों को पंख लगने के लिए ही हुआ है जबकि उसके अपने पर काट दिए जाते हैं।

किसी ने सच ही कहा है
कि तस्वीरें भी बोलती हैं
कल मैंने बहुत सी बातें की
तुम्हारी तस्वीर से
तुम कुछ उदास से लग रहे थे
शायद तुम भी मुझे याद कर रहे थे
लेकिन फ़िर भी हमेशा की तरह
अकड़ू बने पहल करने से हिचक रहे थे
बस मेरी मुस्कान की ही प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे
यही सब किस्से याद करके
जैसे ही मेरे होंठों पे हँसी आई
तो तुम्हारी तस्वीर के भी कुछ भाव बदले
लो हमारी नोकझोक हमेशा की तरह शुरु हो गई
मन ही मन कुछ बात मैंने कही तुम से
तो तुमने भी अपने दिल का हाल जताया
पता नहीं कब मेरी आँख लग गई और मैं सो गई
जब से सो कर उठी हूँ बस
तुम्हारे फ़ोन का ही इंतज़ार कर रही हूँ
जबकि मुझे पता है आज भी तुम
कौन सा कॉल करने वाले हो
मैं जो रुठी हूँ तुम कौनसा मनाने वाले हो
काश! कभी तो तस्वीर से निकल कर
मुझ से कुछ कहो
झगड़ना ही है तो वो ही सही
कुछ आगाज़ तो कभी करो !

Hum mile kuch is tarah se,
Ki wo lamhe mere dil or dimaag mein,
Tumhari chaap chod gye,
Na tum ne kuch kha,
Na humne kuch kha,
Bin bole hi ankhon ne ankho se,
Or
Dil ne dil se har baat kar li,
Hum sochte hi reh gye
Or
Hmare dil ne hamse hi dga kar li.

प्रतीक्षा करो तुम, मुझे मोहब्बत है
मैं यथावत,तुम्हारा ही अनुसरण करता हूँ,
तुम्हारा अक्स सदैव रहता है मेरे साथ,
इस मायावी दुनियां में तुम्हारा ही स्मरण करता हूँ।
विश्व्यापी न ही सही पर मोहब्बत है
हृदय की गहराइयों में तुम्हारा ही नाम है,
एतबार करता हूँ प्रत्येक बार हर दफ़ा
इसलिए तुम्हारे बिना मेरा नाम बेनाम है।
प्रकृति एवं समस्त संसार से मैंने
प्रेम का मतलब तुमसे जोड़ कर देखा है,
कभी क़ुदरत की खूबसूरती मोह लेती है
मैने क़ुदरत में भी मात्र तुम्हें ही देखा कि।
यदि असहाय महसूस करता हूँ तो
तुम्हारी यादें वार्तालाप सकून देती हैं,
जब मैं मग्न हो जाता हूँ तुम्हारे प्रेम में
तो समस्त दुनियां इश्क़ ए जुनून कहती है।

अब कहाँ से लाऊं ख़ुशियों की चाभी
बचपन का गुल्लक कब का टूट गया
नहीं मिलती है बत्ती और स्लेट यहाँ
स्टील का टिफिन रखे रखे फूट गया
बस्ता चूहों का घर बन चुका है
सफ़ेद जूते का ज़माना पीछे छूट गया
अब नहीं आएगा लंच में आचार पराठा
आटे का हलवा मैगी से रूठ गया
उन बच्चों का बुढ़ापा दिखने लगा है
उनके अंदर का बचपना मोबाईल लूट गया

अंगीठी
अंगीठी की जठराग्नि
की तपिश ध्वस्त हो गई है
आधुनिक चिमनी के समक्ष
और ग्रामीण की चिमनी
उसकी लौ को ग्राह्य कर ली मानवकृत विधुत ने,
अचंभे में है उपला कि उसका अस्तित्व रहेगा या नहीं
क्योंकि शमशान घाट में
मनुष्य तन यंत्र की सहायता से भस्म हो रहे हैं।
कांसे के पात्र
पीतल के घड़े और ताम्र के लोटे साक्षी हैं
अपने अस्तित्व के विलुप्त होने पर
और इनके गले में स्मृति की माला डाल रहे हैं,
संश्लेषित वस्तु जिसपर भोजन रख रहे हैं मनुष्य
और कर रहे हैं कृत्रिम भोजन।

हँसना और हँसाना हो,
वो जब प्रेम में
सहजता की सीमा लांघ ले,
और अतिरेक में,
उसकी मिठास बन जाए कड़वाहट,
यह संजोग
मृत्यु है उसके लिए,
नये जन्म की प्रतीक्षा में
मेरे कनु किशोर
मेरी कड़वाहट तेरे चरण,

Your virtual presence is not enough
Frightening is the thought of losing you
If you think I feel insecure, it's true
You'll receive love no matter where you go

We do not know how long this phase will be
But certain things I can clearly foresee
Soon, I may become a blur; that's my fear
Some heartbreaking news I may get to hear
In due course you may find a better mate
I might be abandoned and left to my fate
The thought scares me though you're faithful and kind
Haven't you heard, "Out of sight, out of mind?"

This distance is our destiny; that's true
and to change it, nothing much we can do
But countless lovers have gone through this phase
Ours is not going to be a rare case
Our love is true and it'll pass this fire test
Here's a chance to prove our love, so feel blessed
Your virtual presence will comfort me
Try to be as happy as you can be
Be it a day, a month or a decade
My love will never diminish or fade
I'll be your pillar of strength; you'll be mine
Like a pearlescent star, our love will shine
Stay focused and don't let your mind wander

Being submerged in the ocean of your love,
It seems I have my own different world,
Where you and I live in each other's arms,
And enjoying the pleasures of aquatic charm.
It's waves show our variant moods,
Sometimes it shows that we are being wooed,
And sometimes it shows our intense love game,
Which kindles in us an amorous flame.
The counch on its shore,
Shows the fusion of two souls,
Holding in it the beautiful pearl,
To whom it doesn't want to unfurl.
I want to be with you in this oceanic atmos,
I feel, I am living in a celestial cosmos,
Here, every creature has become my friend,
And now from here, I don't want to transcend.
Ocean being the symbol of timelessness,
Prepares us to face the ups and downs with fearlessness,
Reminds us that noone can defeat us,
Except our own divine conscious.
