Imperfect is what we should consider perfect. We are so occupied in fixing high standards that we forgot how essential it is to promote rawness and vulnerability. We forget that sticking to standards of perfection will only lead to disappointment. But believing in being our true self will help us to lead a peaceful life. And that's exactly how we should live- imperfect yet perfect in our own eyes.
The warmth of your hug, cushioned with eternal love, those innocent eyes, you manipulated to scold me, That smell of food you cooked, waiting for me to return from school, Those days we fought for better side of the bed, and I pleaded you not to leave me, else I would be dead.
That smile, those years of immense joy Ah, I wish I could bring you back! I feel so helpless, nothing in my hands Time is racing fast, still you are not a past Your memories engulf me in their tight arms I feel nostalgic, glimpses of you run in my fragile heart, that's too broken to be mended again.I really push myself for a fresh start, but the pain of losing you is stuck as an art.
If you could choose to fly, why would you wish to stay on ground? If you could choose to smile, why would you frown your brows such? If you could dare to live one more time, why would you even think pain is too much? Why would you? #rhetoric@miraquill@writersnetwork#wod#pod
I want to set my soul free Free from the clutches of my own mind Mind that blurs the life in front of me Me, feeling lost, submerged in this awful sea Sea welcoming waves with warmest wishes I wish I could hug my deepest scars like this This war within me crumbles my self image Images revolve in my head, of that happy me.
That happy me feels a long grown past Past has been heavy for my heart, I heartily bow down to God and wish Wish to receive those giggles and grin I want to welcome my own self back into my body. I want it to be all good, grateful and happy.
