    She's deemed me unseen
    Like a forgotten memory
    Only recurring
    During nightmare season

I'm here in hopes of surviving
    Sinking on solid ground
    I'm fighting and desperately trying
    But there's no one around
    The ground moves quick
    Fluid-like but still
    Tightening it's grasp on me
    Until it has its fill
    Feast sweet solitude
    For when you devour me
    I will then consume you

I wish I could explain these feelings
But I'm no more a poet than the moon is a floating rock

You'd think that I'd give up as many times as my heart has broken

But I've grown fond of playing with the pieces

Keep me at your call and I'll sit in my corner waiting
My name alone as long as I can't hear the world and you don't speak anymore
Seems like we're wasting away at opposite ends of the room

She fell into her weakness and far be it from me to intervene.
But she stole my heart and now it's falling in parallel.
So much for the people, they're all forsaken and we're guilty of love.

    Love conquers all

But only if you're prepared for war

If you can find love in solitude

    the world is yours

The moon may rule in the night sky
    But she owns my dreams
